What if preparing for an MRI could start with medical play?

UNC PharmD student Paul Alebrande is working to bring @LEGO MRI kits to @uncchildrens, giving kids a hands-on way to learn what to expect before their scan.

The set includes a miniature MRI room, waiting area, healthcare workers and a patient, allowing children to play through the experience and become more familiar with an environment that can feel big, loud and unfamiliar.

A very special graduation at UNC Children's Hospital. 💗

After seven months of NICU care, baby Janouri is headed home!

Her journey has been filled with so many milestones, and our teammates and her family came together to celebrate with cupcakes, a pink graduation cap and a special song.

For her mom, Janelle, the experience brought a new perspective and deep gratitude for the people who cared for Janouri along the way.
