SPARTANS. THE DAY HAS COME. WE MADE IT TO THE POLLS, AND WE MADE OUR VOICES HEARD.

As students, we have the constitutional right to vote. Yet, the Board of Elections moved our early voting site 33 MINUTES from the main campus. This is an injustice to Spartans and the surrounding Greensboro area.

Without you all, we couldn't have done this.

🚨 STUDENTS, ITS TIME TO WALK 🚨

If young people’s voices didn’t matter, they wouldn’t make it harder for us to use them. So...

On October 15th, UNCG and NC A&T students will be walking to Union Square to cast our votes and tell the Board of Elections that our right to an accessible voting site cannot be trampled with no matter the excuse.

📍Meet us at 3 PM
🎓 UNCG: Curry 225
🎓 A&T: Student Center
🗳️ Walk together to Union Square
👔 Attire: Black business

Bring your friends. Bring your voice. Bring your walking shoes. Every step is a statement. Every vote is a promise to the future we share.

See you there‼️ by @uncgdemocrats

Greensboro will proudly tell you “We don’t use Flock cameras.” What they fail to mention is that the city still uses Verkada surveillance technology.

Who’s watching them, while they’re watching you? by @uncgdemocrats

WE ARE READY FOR CHANGE.

Students from UNCG and NC A&T marched from their campuses to their shared early voting location—30 mins from UNCG and 40 mins from A&T.

Moving polling places won’t stop us from voting Republicans out of office.

EARLY VOTING HAS ALREADY STARTED! Find your polling place at ncdp.org/candidates. taken in UNC Greensboro by @uncgdemocrats
