Then: a few tattoos and strung out on meth.
Now: covered in ink and clean.

People see the tattoos and assume I'm the dangerous one.
The truth is, I was most dangerous back when I looked "normal."

The ink tells my story. The sobriety is the miracle.

If you're still on that boat chasing the next high, it's not too late. It wasn't for me.

I coach men for a living. I still pay a coach.

Every week he gets my check-in: bodyweight every morning, daily steps, every meal, every session, and a 1 to 10 on sleep, energy, recovery, digestion and hunger.

Not because I don't know what to do. Because nobody grades their own homework.

Most men don't need more motivation. They need someone checking.

Start with 7 days. Comment RESET7 for my free 7 Day Reset.

Six months ago Austin told me one thing: “Don’t bring God into this.”

He came to me to get in shape for jiu-jitsu. He was already in incredible shape — great genetics, hard worker. He just wanted to compete.

I didn’t push. I just kept showing up for him.

Six months later:
→ He’s leading his family in a new direction
→ His wife just put in her two weeks to stay home with their kids
→ They’ve got another one on the way
→ And Saturday, he gave his life to Christ and got baptized

I’m so freaking proud of this guy

Fitness is the door. It’s a great baseline. But it was never the whole point.

This is why I do what I do. by @unchained_fit

The haters are back in full effect.

If you knew anything about me, you probably wouldn't say half of what you said. But that's alright.

God bless you, brother. Much love. Praise Jesus.

3 things I protect every single day.

1. The mat. I train, no matter what.
2. Faith. The Word before the world.
3. Family. They get the best of me, not what's left.

Pick yours. Protect them. Comment RESET7 for my free 7 Day Reset. by @unchained_fit

Summer 2024. My phone rings. It's a client, on his way to the airport.

He didn't call about macros. He needed someone who'd been there.

Today he's over 2 years sober. New home. New boat.

That call is why I do this. Comment RESET7 for my free 7 Day Reset. by @unchained_fit

My first video: ankle monitor still on.

Fresh out of federal prison. Four months of home confinement. No lights. No editor. No plan. Just a phone and my story.

Eight months later I started posting. I didn't know what I was doing. I just let it rip.

And men started DMing me asking how to start over. by @unchained_fit

Nobody can make anybody get clean.

It has to be their decision. How far they fall before they make it is up to them.

The hardest thing to do with someone you love who keeps screwing up? Cut them off.

What I actually eat on a training day. 44 years old, 8 years clean.

Cream of rice, banana and almond butter with my Bible open. Pre-workout, then the gym. Chicken, jasmine rice, squash and avocado. Lean turkey and jasmine rice on the scale. Flank steak and sweet potato to close it out.

No cheat code. Same meals, weighed, every day. Boring works.

Two phone numbers. I called the wrong one.

Fresh out of LA County Jail. Eight months sober.

15 minutes later I was high. Eight months of sobriety gone in a split second.

A lady on the bus asked me, "So who are you going to call?" Today I know that was God asking. by @unchained_fit
