Life’s been pretty busy, and I keep meaning to make one of my rare posts, but I always forget.

Grew my first pineapple this year, and it was delicious. I can officially add that to the list of things I’ve grown and eaten.

Recently made a trip back to Washington to meet the little girl who’s made me an uncle grandpa. My niece even busted out a photo album with the rare evidence that I used to be a gangster.

Got to hang out with friends I haven’t seen in a few years. Visited Jay’s daughter and it’s been beautiful watching her grow into such a wonderful kid.

Dinner tonight became one of my favorite memories with my youngest nephew. He’s been asking my brother for lobster, knowing he’d get the chance while visiting. We ordered him a lobster tail, expecting he wouldn’t like it but curious to see his reaction. From the moment the plate arrived, he dove in like eating lobster was second nature. He handled the shell without help and even got annoyed when we offered assistance. We ordered shrimp pasta as a backup, but he ended up gripping shrimp in one hand and lobster in the other, feasting like a little king. taken in Ciudad Constitución, Baja California Sur by @unchanguito
