“Our story began on June 9, 2023. Our first time meeting in person. There I was, sitting on a park bench, heart racing with nervous anticipation. To steady myself, I struck up a conversation with a stranger nearby who seemed to be in the same situation as me. And then she appeared. She was radiant and confident, walking down the sidewalk with the kind of grace that could stop time itself. That’s when I instantly knew...I was in “trouble”.

Almost two years passed in what felt like a blink of an eye. We were building a life together under one roof. Somewhere between the quiet mornings, shared dinners, and the unspoken joy of never having to do laundry again, I realized that I didn’t want to just live with Elizabeth – I wanted to live for her. I had been planning the proposal since the Thanksgiving prior. Then, on a cloudy, yet breathtaking evening in Hawaii, I dropped to one knee for the best decision I’ve made in my life to date. Let’s not forget how long it took for me to actually get her attention. It was only after an audible, “WHAT?!” that she finally turned around.”

L + L officially tied the knot early last week, with the most whimsical, intimate stunning Oregon Coast elopement - complete with walking through the Redwoods, viewing the jagged coastline from above, running along the beach at sunset and celebrating into the night with their closest loved ones (and a fire to keep them wam).

It was a day worthy of so much care and intentionality. A day fully lived, experienced and (now), remembered.

You don’t have to leave Indiana to have an epic elopement 🥾✨🤘🏽

We’re talking towering trees, winding trails through canyons, ladders to climb and an A-frame tucked away in the woods that looks like it belongs in the Pacific Northwest.

Yep. All in📍Indiana.

When most people think about adventure elopements, they picture traveling across the country to somewhere like Colorado, Oregon or Washington. And while we’re always down for an adventure out west, some pretty incredible locations might be closer to home than you’d expect.

And finding those locations? That’s exactly what we’re here for ⬇️

We found both of these spots for our couple, giving them the opportunity to explore an epic state park and exchange letters at a nearby A-frame, all without leaving Indiana.

And their adventure didn’t end after the hike through the canyon. They wrapped up the day together by getting matching tattoos in our mobile tattoo studio and celebrating together in the hot tub. Because why should your wedding day be limited to just a ceremony, when you can fill it with bucket-list experiences you’ll be talking about for the rest of your life?
