The most hyped Travis Scott release of 2025 just lost 75% of its value.

The Travis Scott x Fragment Air Jordan 1 Low Military Blue went from nearly $2,000 for early pairs to under $500 today.

And the important part for buyers is I’m still not convinced we’ve seen the floor.

The graph is finally starting to flatten and the gap between buyers and sellers is getting tight. But after months of lower lows, I need to see the market actually stabilize before calling this a buy.

A 75% crash makes the price look attractive. That doesn’t automatically make it the bottom.

Stay tuned because up next I’ll share my thoughts on WHY this happened.

Was it the endless hype cycle?
An inflated early market?
Replicas flooding the market?
Or did buyers simply decide this shoe was never worth what the market said it was?

Maybe one of those, maybe not 🤷‍♂️

Two days later and the Air Jordan 16 “Black Pack” is still sitting around the same place.

The market hasn’t really moved. And neither have the release details.

That matters.

Right now, we’re still waiting to see where these actually release, how wide the rollout is, and how much inventory reaches the market. Those answers should be what finally forces the next move.
I’ve got a few places I’m watching for the first drops and a window where I think we could finally start seeing prices react.

Until then, $622 is information. Not a reason to chase.

A LOT OF YOU HAVE ASKED SO HEAR YOU GO

$622 is the ask.

That doesn’t mean the Air Jordan 16 “Black” is a $622 sneaker.

This pair has real scarcity behind it: limited stock, NBHD allocation, and no confirmed SNKRS release as of now. But scarcity can make a thin market look stronger than it actually is.

The part I’m watching is what’s underneath the ask.
Actual sales are limited. Bid support is weak. And that gap between what sellers want and what buyers are actually willing to pay is telling you something.
I’m not chasing the headline price.

Halloween hype can make a price look a lot more convincing than it actually is. 🎃

The Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” has plenty working for it: a black AJ5, seasonal timing, strong early attention and a colorway you can wear long after October.

But hype and market strength aren’t the same thing.
Sellers are leaning into the excitement. Buyers aren’t matching that energy yet — and with plenty of pairs expected, patience matters.

I like the shoe. I like the demand. I don’t like chasing it.

Don’t confuse a good shoe with a good price.
Discipline > panic.

October is loaded. That doesn’t mean your cart needs to be.

But I’m not here to convince you every October sneaker release is a must have.

I’m here to tell you where the numbers say pay up, stay patient, or walk away.

Some of these should get cheaper. Some may never give us the window we want. And a couple might test your discipline.

I’d rather save you money than sell you hype.

BIG NAMES = BIG EXPECTATIONS.

But history doesn’t set today’s price.

The Kith x ASICS Salmon Toe is back with a legacy that helped define an era. The J Balvin Jordan 4 has the collaborator and the silhouette. Both are arriving with asks that still lean heavily on the name attached.

Meanwhile, the London Jordan 4 is showing what actual scarcity can do when access is the problem.
That’s the distinction I’m watching.

A great story can create attention. A famous collaborator can create expectations. But eventually the market still has to prove the demand is there.

Don’t pay for the past. Watch the board.
