Most of you already know this, but @remedymotel released a video last week for one of our old songs “Boise” from our second record. I thought it might be cool to share the A.i. baby pics alongside all of the original old man pics I used to generate the images for the video. It’s certainly debatable as to whether or not we’ve aged well…😬 enjoy! Some of these pics are from waaaaaaay back…. Good Art Friday already… these are paintings from artist @nazeersabree A Really talented guy whose work explores individual and shared cultural experiences, identity, personal narratives, literature, philosophy, social constructs, mental health, belonging, and African American history. Good Art Friday (on a Sunday)! This time I’m bringing you two works that I commissioned artist @alvaroescbr to do of Abe and Eli a couple years ago. They were a gift to Jenni and they turned out amazing. Alvaro does some incredible work and has a genuine talent for capturing a kind of thoughtful intensity in the countenance of his subjects that really draws in the viewer making you wonder what they’re wondering, what they’re thinking and where their thoughts are going. It’s finally here... I’ve always wanted to have a vinyl record of my own music, and now I got one! 👊🏼 It turned out exactly as I’d hoped and it holds some of the best songs we’ve written. So proud of this one and so grateful to have been able to record these tunes will some of my closest friends. Thanks to all of you who preordered this album months ago and have waited patiently for it to arrive. Make every effort you can to keep yourself connected to the folks you cherish and admire in your life. I was fortunate to spend another great weekend laughing and creating fresh memories with some longtime friends of mine and it was nothing but good nourishment for the soul. Highly recommended. This is Digger and Nate. Most of you know them already, but I’ve played music with these two friends and brothers of mine for nearly 30 years. Played my very first show with them at the Dead Goat when I was 19. Together we’ve made lots of music, played to thousands of people, lived in an RV together, and traveled around the country a few times. Together, we’ve married, built families, coached soccer, coached basketball, our kids are all friends, our wives are all friends, and on Friday the 3 of us released our 5th album. Our first in 17 years. For almost 2 years we’ve spent weeknights and weekends, an hour here, an hour there, and together we were able to cobble together a pretty good batch of songs. I love these two like brothers and I just wanted to personally and publicly thank them for the journey we’ve taken. “On and on and on we ride with the music rolling every mile…” thanks fellas. by @unclemica
