A day at Desoto! 🛹🍻🌲

I've been working at extending my grinds and holding them for longer. I previously was only able to board slide a quarter of the curb. Now I'm able to boardslide the entire curb and almost nose slide the curb entirely as well! Centering all my weight on the obstacle has helped with this greatly.

Practice makes perfect! Go getchu some!

Ahhhhhhhhhh the challenge has been complete! These past 31 days have been an absolute journey. Looking back at when I started, my legs were wobbly, I was out of breath quickly, and I had little confidence in my abilities. Today, I stood sturdy like a tree, I didn't get tired, and I skated with confidence. To say the 30 day challenge was easy would be a lie. There were plenty of times where I wanted to give up, my body sore and beaten down. The morning walk into work was always a doozy.

Persistence, Perseverance, Faith - some words that stick with me throughout.

Long nights after work skating in the darkness or in the blazing heat some days and then coming home to shower, edit the video before late and squeeze in a meal somehow. It was totally worth it!

I'm a little sad this journey and skate project is coming to an end. I really enjoyed making the edits and connecting with my old skate homies.

Learned new tricks, got more consistent at old ones, unlocked some cool manuals.

You only have to stand up more than you get knocked down🤟🏾

Day 29!

It's been quite the journey thus far! Dodging ran, overcoming the constant threat of injury any given trick LOL 😂 But, we've made it day 29 despite it all. Decided to continue to work on some grinds on the coping. Wound up ended up seeing my dawg killa kev! 50-50 to lipslide / boardslide (idk) is a fun one!

No rain today, and somehow caught a nice sunset otw in to the park. Not a bad day all In all. taken in Skatepark of Tampa by @uncleserotonin

DAY 28!🌴🤟🏾🐊🛹

SHREDDY KRUEGER inspired tonight -

Got the 5050 around the corner today which was tight. I ended up running into @eddiee_j again which is always a good time. He ended up with a nice clip, Ollie onto the box with a nice shuv-it off towards the end of the sesh, right before the lights came on!💪🏾

I was able to muster a 180 down the 4 set. It's rather slippery at the bottom of it so you gotta be on point. Other than that I had fun practicing grinding on the coping and played around a bit with that! taken in Skatepark of Tampa by @uncleserotonin

Day 27!🐊🛹🌴

Headed to SPoT for a quick 45 minute sesh and ended up seeing the homie @eddiee_j 🤟🏾

Took the opportunity to work on some grinds on the coping and work on some transition skating. Rock to fakie And Rock n Roll.

My legs are still pretty sore from practicing Tre flips, so I had to take it light this evening

Day 26! ⛈️🌴🐊🛹

Another rainy day in paradise! It rained all day and so I already had a plan to skate despite the rain! I had to come back for the fakie Tre flip the next day. I ended up landing it better than I expected! I figured if I could land a Fakie Tre I could probably land it normal. Went ahead and crossed that one of the list too

Feet were damp, air was humid, balls were hot.

Tis the way she goes

Shout out @tjacob95 for the inspiration to land a tre flip, I haven't landed one in years and especially not a fake tre flip. Much love brother

Day 25!🌴🤟🏾

Short skate sesh tonight! I've been really busy and pressed on time so this will have to do. Working on landing a Fakie Tre for my old skate buddy @tjacob95! Regular tre flips are hard as hell!

Almost landed it a couple times but ended up having to call it a night!

Feeling pretty good about landing the fakie tre before the 30 days is over!
