When you buy a gray couch because....A. The price was rightB. You needed it to be a pull- outC. It's comfyBut you also needed it to tie in with your warm taupes, browns and creams....what do you do?1. Add a good base....AKA an area rug and this one is not only soft, washable and affordable, it has the browns, blacks and creams in it2. Style the gray couch with brown and cream throws and pillows3. Our pretty pink guest room somehow ALWAYS becomes a dumping ground. But last week I tackled it, and she's gorgeous again! I do need to tackle the closet and find a better organizer, but that's an October problem! Do you have a room or closet in your house where things get dumped? Today is the first day back to work for my husband and myself after 2.5 weeks of vacation.....so naturally Winnie had me up at 11pm last night, after I had been in bed (and ASLEEP) since 9pm, and Archie had me up at 4am! My husband gets up at 430am for work so needless to say, I did not get back to sleep and it's going to be a LONG day. That's what I get for bragging about my sleep score!! Home Sweet Home and aside from picking up the dogs this morning, sleeping in our own bed and waking up to our own coffee are the best parts of being home! If you've been here for awhile, you know we've been working away at our son and his fiancé's home, helping them transform spaces, one room at a time.
