I turned down a $120,000 starting salary to chase two dreams: represent New Zealand at the Olympics 🇳🇿 and build Uncontainable. I created Uncontainable for the woman who has been told to play small, be realistic, or become less of who she is. This brand is my way of telling women: you are allowed to be bold, you are allowed to dream big, and you do not have to be contained by the limits other people place on you. That’s why I design every piece as an athlete, runner, Pilates and yoga instructor. That’s why I put affirmations inside our activewear. And that’s why I host events that bring women together in real life to connect, uplift, and remind each other of who we are. When you support Uncontainable, you’re not just buying activewear. Honestly had so much fun designing these for the crew and then seeing everyone actually racing in them today was even better 🥹 Team Green has some of New Zealand’s top track athletes in the group, including Lex who holds the NZ record in the men’s 400m, so it’s pretty cool seeing our kits out there racing FAST. And being a Kiwi athlete myself, I loveeee getting to bring Uncontainable back home and make something for athletes in NZ 🇳🇿 We made custom speed suits + competition kits for Team Green, but we can also do buns, shorts, crops, tanks and other custom pieces for your team. Uncontainable was never meant to be just activewear. 💗 I wanted to build something that helps women feel confident in who they already are: to love their bodies, shine their light, and feel free to be authentically themselves. That’s why every piece has a little affirmation hidden inside. A reminder that what you wear can represent something bigger than how you look. And it’s why we create community events that bring women together to move, connect, laugh, make friends, and feel like they belong. A huge part of Uncontainable comes from Hauora, a Māori model of wellbeing I grew up learning about in New Zealand. It recognizes that wellbeing is made up of four interconnected dimensions: physical, mental/emotional, social, and spiritual. When one is struggling, it can affect the others. I believe women deserve spaces that nurture all of them. At the same time, I’m building this brand while chasing another dream of mine representing New Zealand in the 400m hurdles at the 2028 Olympics. 🇳🇿 Some days I’m an athlete. Some days I’m a founder. Most days I’m both. And through all of it, I want Uncontainable to remind women of one thing: You don’t need to make yourself smaller to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. Be bold.
