With just one road through the park and private vehicles limited to the first 15 miles, the bus is one of the best ways to get deeper into the park to watch wildlife and beautiful landscapes go by.⁠

Which season do you want to plan your Southeast Alaska trip for?⁠
⁠
April and May bring clearer skies and darker nights to see the Northern Lights, bears on the beach searching for food, and beautiful snow-covered mountains. We like to call this the painting season. ⁠
⁠
June and July bring bigger crowds to the ports and tourist towns, but we take you far away from those areas anyway. Flowers are blooming, weather is variable, and wildlife sightings tend to be abundant. ⁠

Mid-August through September brings berries aplenty, salmon runs in full swing, and the first hints of fall color. Just don't forget your rain gear! by @uncruise
