Tonight, our hearts exploded! Best Wedding Planner in QLD at the Australian Bridal Industry Awards.
Still in disbelief. Still shaking. Still emotional.

Tonight was a moment I’ll never forget; standing there speechless, with Soph by my side and our closest industry friends cheering like crazy. What a wild, surreal, beautiful moment.

This award isn’t just ours.

It’s built on hours, days and weekends poured into our couples and their celebrations. It’s the late nights, the calm in the chaos, the spreadsheets, the styling, the storytelling, the heart.

But it didn’t stop there…

We were also awarded 3rd in Elopements & Micro Weddings, 3rd in Content Creation, and Finalist for Celebrant.

Multiple categories. Multiple recognitions. One team with its whole heart in this industry.

To our couples who voted for us, thank you for trusting us with the most meaningful day of your lives. Your stories are our purpose and this award honours you, too.

This might just be one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received as a celebrant 🥹

To hear from the mother of the groom that I was able to put their relationship into words she couldn’t have imagined herself, and that she walked away having learnt even more about their love story. I honestly don’t have the words.

This is everything to me.

When I write a ceremony, all I ever want is for my couples to feel represented. For their families and loved ones to recognise the people standing in front of them, and perhaps discover a little more about the love they share.

I aim not to just to tell a beautiful story, but to tell their story.

It is the greatest privilege to be trusted with your stories, to hold space for you and the people you love, and to be part of moments that will stay with your families long after the wedding day.

Common wedding misconception: You need a completely different team to your sister, brother or best friend.

You really don’t 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about walking into a wedding and already knowing the family, the faces and the people who matter most.

I’ve now had the privilege of marrying both of these beautiful sisters, and being welcomed back into the same family for another very big day is something I’ll never take for granted.

Choose the people you trust. If they already feel a little like chosen family, even better.

Nothing sets the tone for a wedding quite like the groom and his groomsmen arriving with shots in hand 🫡
