London, you were all that I needed this year. 🫶

I went to Creator Live hoping to meet at least 1 like-minded person and ended up gaining a whole crew of amazing people, the best of memories and the most fun I've had in a while!

It might have been only 5 days but the time there felt like a life of its own in the best of ways. 🫶

When it hits you that after many years, you are going to bed with peace and joy in your heart. It became so normal you don't even think that there could be anything else.
And you wake up looking forward to the day. No shame. No doubt. No dread of yet another day. And you feel grateful yet again.

You come to work and you say "Thank you for another day here".
You see your colleagues and you think "Thank you for surrounding me with such people".
You spent so many years living in survival mode that this feels like a temporary gift in your life to let you breathe for a moment. So you feel blessed every day you get to live in it for yet another day.
Hoping it will last longer than you dare to wish for.

At night you lay in your bed and think "Thank you for my home. Thank you for my little sanctuary." These seemingly small things mean so much to you. Your bed. Your pillows. Your bed linen. Your bedside table. Your little plants. What is in this little room is all that you own. At some point it was all that you dreamed of.

You waited and waited. Not daring to settle down. To build a home. To invest in what lights you up. Until you realized that's not a way to live. And you need to try things another way.
You need to let yourself live. You need to try and trust yourself.
That it's safe to give yourself what you need. That not everything will fall apart if you do.

So, thank you for another day and all the blessings I have in my life. May they grow, multiply and stay as long as they're meant to.
And for the joy and peace I'm feeling to expand to everyone around me. Thank you. ❤️ by @under.thepine.trees

I don't remember the last time I just listened to the silence in my home, laid down on my bed and simply enjoyed the peaceful existence in the moment.

I usually get restless, feel the need to move, go somewhere, be in another environment, be amongst other people, accomplish something, create, write, listen to music, feel alive.

It got harder to slow down and appreciate what I have where I am.
To be with myself without needing to do something.
Just breathing and observing my thoughts.
No noise, no big goals, just living in this moment.

That's when I see myself again, who I am when the noise quiets down, what truly matters, what distracts me, what I give too much value and attention to, and what I wish to give more attention to.

It reminds me of what I deeply care about and what my heart longs for.

So I am grateful for this slow Saturday morning, and I hope you find the opportunity to slow down as well. 🧡 by @under.thepine.trees
