HANS B2B NOPET ON THE ROOFTOP

We were joined by @greenhouse_cdf co-founder NOPET and our very own HANS who set the tone for the night in style with an experienced warmup set before the handover to Dual Monitor.

The duo laid down an hour and a half of patient grooves and rolling percussion exploring a range of dubby deep house and 2000s inspired tech house as well as a few curveballs for good measure! taken in District Cardiff by @under1roofcdf

U1R District Rooftop 31.05

Another seriously special night for us, we were so excited to have the opportunity to return to the rooftop after last year’s first there and do it all over again.

It’s so rewarding to see so many new and old faces with each event we do, seeing how people have stuck with us from the beginning all the way through to now as we continue to shift in our sound reminds us of how strong of a community we have built up.

Thank you to everyone that came and danced with us and to all the amazing DJs on this line up that had everyone dancing day to night.

UNDER 1 ROOF PRESENTS DISTRICT ROOFTOP

We’re returning to the perfect summer venue at District Rooftop after 1 year with our biggest show to date providing you with a curated journey through sound in true U1R fashion.

Headlining the night we have invited the powerhouse Bass duo Dual Monitor, labelled by Rinse FM as “The UK Genre Alchemists”, they seamlessly navigate UK Bass, Dubstep Techno and much more with releases on Ec2a, Hardline Sounds, TraTraTrax and Rinse FM as well as appearances at Gottwood & Outlook Festival

Accompanying us we also have IZZIT. The Bristol-based DJ blends electro, breaks and house with a deep, bass-driven sensibility channelling the raw energy of early 2000’s club culture.

Every set has been intentionally curated to build and evolve, from deep groove-led beginnings through to high energy late night pressure. Expect a fluid progression across house, UK Bass, Breaks and Techno, all woven into one continuous journey.

We can’t wait for you all to join us for a final dance on the rooftop

U1R SESSIONS 002| NOPET

We were joined a few weeks back by @greenhouse_cdf co-founder @__nopet over at @honeycardiff

NOPET has been moving dancefloors across the Welsh capital with sets that range from fast, skippy jungle to deep, minimal house, always with an attempt to satisfy a curious palate.

He laid down an hour of deep driving rollers laced with soulful vocals and acidy synths, his meticulous selections and patient approach to building energy once again affirms his versatility and experience as one of Cardiff’s finest selectors. taken in Cardiff, Wales by @under1roofcdf
