We Did It! The New York Season Finale Screening of Season 6 of Talks With Myself concluded. Black History Month is about honoring the work that moves us forward. In 2024, I had the privilege of producing and assisting my mentor, the incredible Stanley Wayne Mathis, on his powerful play “Preachin’ To The Choir: An Inconvenient Truth.” This piece doesn’t shy away from hard conversations. It explores how we as the African Diaspora must take ownership of our own actions—yes, protecting ourselves from external harm, but also embracing each other more deeply.
