iPhone bits from our bridal editorial I had the absolute honour to be a small part of - now featured on @wed_vibes ✨ This concept was all about a lived-in, maximalist tablescape — layered, expressive, a little undone in the most intentional way. The kind of setting that feels like the night has already happened… and then the bride dancing on the table brings it back to life. This shoot was especially meaningful to me because it gave me the space to freely create by playing with different tools, and movement in real time, without relying on any filters or heavy post-production. This was the result of an amazing team. Every element came together so beautifully because of each creative involved. One year ago today, I took a leap of faith and jump started this little business of mine. Little did I know it would bring me to so many places and would allow me to connect with so many people from so many different backgrounds. I remember vividly having a conversation with some photographer friends of mine during a wedding when I shared that I had a big love (more like obsession) with everything bridal. I thought it was only just a phase because I had been planning my very own wedding for two years. But the planning was over and the obsession was still there. I knew I wanted to do something in the industry that highlighted the hard work that goes on wedding days, having noticed it in my very own. After feeling a gap in my new hometown, it became clear it would be behind-the-scenes content creation. My photographer friends told me to just go for it and give it a try, there was truly nothing I was loosing. I had no idea how to get it started but I tried everything to make it happen. Two photographers I contacted decided to take a chance on me and for that I am forever grateful. A full year in now and it’s safe to say this job is a gift. Although there is so much that goes behind it that people do not know and sometimes I still struggle between the balance of home life and work life, I used to dream of this and wouldn’t change it for the world. It may not have been what I envisioned when I moved from Montreal but it sure is what my heart longed for. And Honestly, I wouldn’t be here without my husband - my tech guy, manager, and biggest motivator. He holds it down at home when I can’t, and he’s the reason I’m still standing strong one year in. This “job” is all about you; my couples and my vendor friends (or shall I say “friendors” hehe). Thank you for trusting me with your happiest moments and allowing me into your world.
