UDG®FRESHMAN 26 SHOW

DD Ma Shawty (@ddmashawty ): Born in Hefei in 2004, DD Ma Shawty draws on New York’s melodic street rap, channeling youthful ambition, relationships and pressure into buoyant melodies. His debut S.I.T.L and mixtape 21’s Tears showcase a sensitive, self-assured voice, with “Diamond Tear” and “AOE” among his standout tracks.

IsolYves (@isolyves ): Originally from Shenzhen and now based in New York, IsolYves pairs melodic rap with electronic textures, rainy nighttime moods and a cold visual aesthetic. Her debut EP777 and follow-up PARIS, featuring zenexonly collaboration “onlyzen,” balance weightless melodies with a darker, more claustrophobic atmosphere.

Yoyi(@yoyiiyoy ): Guangzhou’s Yoyi blends hyperpop, cloud rap, electroclash and Cantopop, handling everything from vocals to visuals. Their album B♥D explores love and loneliness through fragile electronic textures.

春(@chunchun_2006 ): Hailing from Luzhou, Sichuan, CliffEagleBoyz member 春 brings hometown culture and Chinese imagery into cloud rap and emotionally charged songwriting. He started recording on his phone in 2023; his 2026 album《娘子》explores home, desire, intimacy and fate through distorted beats and close, intimate vocals.

UDG®FRESHMAN 26 SHOW

Losty (@lost.yi ): Taipei’s Losty, leader of CyberMade, blends hyperpop, emo and trap. Melancholy melodies meet restless electronic production in songs tracing relationships, loneliness and the romance of city life.

lind(@l1ndl1nd ): Beijing’s lind blends trap and jerk with local slang, English bars and Chinese opera samples. His independently written, performed and mixed album LindFM revisits childhood radio memories.

ayin印(@ayin_0819 ): Northeastern China’s ayin印 moves from hard-edged rap toward retro R&B, blending K-pop influences and street-dance grooves with the stage presence of a former idol trainee.

UDG®FRESHMAN 26 SHOW

Jesse Margiela / 周乘羽(@jessemargiela )：Formerly known as Jesse Margiela, 周乘羽 turns internet memes, wordplay and self-deprecating humor into trap and jerk. Moving beyond his cloud rap roots, he made absurdist Chinese lyricism central to《幽默与笑话》with 卡力老虎. The 2026 follow-up《幽默与笑话2》marks a new chapter under his real name.

AdamOcean / 亚当魔星(@adamocean16 )：Chengdu’s AdamOcean, aka 亚当魔星, draws on Chief Keef and Lil Wayne to craft gritty glo trap with sharp, fluid flows. Local dialect, neighborhood references and internet humor ground his throwback sound in Chengdu street life, with 2025 releases including Days Before XVI, Before Swag Again and M.C.S.A.

Hidoyard(@hidoyard )：Chengdu artist and producer Hidoyard taught himself production and mixing after starting in 2020. Rooted in emo rap and pluggNB, his sound increasingly draws on retro textures. His 2025 single “Baller” marked that shift, attracting overseas attention and leading to a collaboration with Thai artist Yungtarr.

JUST ANNOUNCED: @jackzebra626 brings his world tour to Australia this December, marking his Australian debut.

A leading voice in China’s new generation of underground rap, jackzebra has built an audience far beyond home with hazy, heavily Auto-Tuned Mandarin vocals that move between cloud rap, plugg and trap. Now part of New York collective @surfgang1, he brings that sound to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney for the first time.
