My client was told their original tattoo was too dark to cover by numerous artists. Whilst that may be the case for some tattoos it certainly wasn’t for this one. With some knowledge of pigments, saturation and a little compromise on exact design layout most things are coverable without having to go absolutely huge or super dark.
This piece still needs one more session to really saturate those highlights and tidy any of the old tattoo shining through, but I’m super happy with how it’s turned out after one pass.
