As a multifaceted artist I’m constantly haunted by the phrase “a jack of all trades is a master of none”. Sometimes it feels like there’s no time or way to honor all of my passions especially with fast turnover of social media. However, this year I set out to remind myself of the entirety of the phrase: “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”. I submitted new and old work to a collection of magazines and crossed my fingers that my work would be appreciated. To my surprise the two images chosen by @fstopmagazine were photos that showcased many of my passions. In both series I styled each artist, creative directed the photoshoot, organized questions that would spark dialogue and photographed each image.
Attempting to try everything my brain imagines can be exhausting but moments like these remind me to continue to create authentically and to be my biggest advocate. Most importantly just because it was created years ago does not make the moment or art less valuable.

I bought this dress many months ago and when it came in the mail you couldn’t pay me to wear it out the house. Funny how time heals all wounds cause it’s officially one of my favorites.

My girl jokes that I never smell but I’m taking that a step further. I’ve used the same powder deodorant since I was a CHILD. I’ve been craving something different and new. As I was going to reup my setting spray I peeped the @cyklarofficial roll on gel deodorant. As a sensitive skin cutie I tend to avoid scented things but after rolling the tester into the crease of my arm and nothing flaring up, I know it was a go. I wore it same day to Jama’s Afrorave where I was indeed sweating and it lasted the night 🙌🏾. Might just be my new decade plus obsession.
