DEAR SENSITIVE HUMAN

you are not a label
not a disorder
not a diagnosis
to manage

you are
a sensitive human
a finely tuned system
built to sense
what others overlook

society gives names
to what
doesn’t yet understand

labels to create order
categories to feel safe

but sensitivity
isn’t chaos
it’s data
it’s depth
it’s perception before logic

you process more
you feel more
you notice more
yes
it can be overwhelming
in a world designed
for speed
not depth

we were taught
that sensitivity is
a flaw
too soft
too emotional
too much

but it’s not
it’s information
it’s deep intelligence

the suffering starts
when we internalize
the label
when we try to function
like everyone else
when we shrink
to fit systems
that were never
built for us

sensitive humans are
innovators
bridge builders
early sensors of change

we don’t
fit the mold
because
we’re here
to reshape it

we translate
emotion into insight
feeling into design
awareness into evolution

and to the sensitive men
you are
the quiet disruptors
of the old order
the ones
dismantling systems
built on suppression
your strength
is your sensitivity

and your time has come

Last week, a devastating fire claimed the lives of 27 children, leaving families and the wider community of Chimpunda facing unimaginable grief.
But the tragedy did not end with the fire.
Survivors are now struggling without adequate medical care, shelter, food, and basic necessities. Many families have nowhere safe to sleep and are desperately calling out for help, not knowing where their next support will come from.
In the midst of this heartbreaking situation, we can bring hope.

Concerts just aren’t what they used to be. 📱🎶

There was a time when you went to a concert to actually EXPERIENCE the music. You watched the artist, sang along, danced, looked around and took in the atmosphere. You went home with memories.

Now, so many people spend the entire show holding their phone above their head, recording every song through a tiny screen.

And the irony? You can watch the footage online later. But you’ll never get that exact moment back.

Smartphones have made it easier than ever to capture concerts — but have they also made it harder to actually be present?

Put the phone down. Look at the stage. Sing the song. Feel the crowd. Make the memory.

You don’t need to record everything to prove you were there.

Sometimes the best moments are the ones you never filmed. 🎤

The band performing in the first clip is INXS playing “New Sensation” live at Wembley Stadium 1991. Frontman Michael Hutchence once said in an interview that the “audience is half the show” and you “give that back to them” because concerts should be a shared and intimate experience. Nowadays, audiences are not fully in the moment and are distracted from their phones and not actually witnessing the show itself. So what’s the point if you’re missing the show with your own eyes? It’s dystopian at this point.
