Here’s how to do it!

This will only work if the drill bit or tap is broken in a NON FERROUS material!

1. Find some Alum
(Potassium Aluminum Sulfate)

2. Break it up into a very fine powder

3. Heat water to almost a boil in a glass pan, jar or NON FERROUS metal container

4. Mix the Alum powder into the hot water until no more powder will dissolve
(I used 200g in about 1.5 cups)

5. Take your part with the broken tap or drill bit and submerge it in the water until the whole tap or bit is underwater

6. Continue heating the solution and leave the part in there until the tap or drill bit dissolves!

Be careful, this solution is corrosive as fukkkkkkkkk! Don’t spill it on anything.

With the price of diesel, will you be considering other forms of heat this winter instead of diesel heaters?

This week we installed a diesel heater in the 2015 Toyota Tacoma with a super cool DIY wedge style pop-up topper.

We used @unethical.engineering quick Jerry can disconnect kit to make fueling this heater a breeze while also creating an extended run time with the 5 gallon tank.

These diesel heaters are great for those who enjoy camping in cold weather.

Check out @unethical.engineering for all your diesel heater needs!

Fuel tap and @unethical.engineering Stainless Steel quick fuel line disconnect install on this Ram 2500. This upgrade will remove the need for an auxiliary fuel tank to fuel the Espar S2 diesel heater and supply hundreds of hours of run time.

The quick fuel disconnects and deutsch connector for the fuel pump harness make it easy to take the camper on and off safely.

Go check out @unethical.engineering for all your diesel heater needs!
