Had such a blast making this one. Wanted it to feel old school, but modern with some ominous vibes. Thank you to the crew and everyone involved!

A letter to my friends,

It’s been such a crazy 4 months since I got asked to join this project, & I didn’t think things would be moving this fast. Within a month, we started shaping the demo. A month after that we already had recorded it. Since that day, I never really realized how much playing music could impact my life and how much I wanted to do it, even if it was just for a little while. I was already a huge music consumer, and never really considered myself a musician like that. Growing up, playing the guitar was always this hobby that would let me express myself in ways I could not vocalize. It was always there. This band is that new outlet. This demo is that new medium.

Perceiving myself the ways others could see me has always been a weird thought to me. I didn’t think I was going to ever even do a project like this. I would always just play songs I knew I liked. When I was called & asked if I wanted to be a part of a band, I knew it was a no brainer. The timing of it was perfect. During those days, I had recently lost my best friend, my beloved older brother Luis. I felt like this was exactly what I needed, to not lose myself in the grief. I’m so grateful to be a part of something so sick. Nobody had any idea of what was going on prior to that, so to me, this was the universe’s timing. I fully dedicate this project, every show, and every future piece of music to you Luis, forever and always.

I am so late on this but it must be said.

Thank you dylan for being so talented and bringing out the best in all of us, colby & ryan for truly believing in me, and everyone who cared enough to give this project a listen. Thankful for the day 1 homies that gave it a listen and supported sincerely. It means more to me than anyone could ever know. Lastly, thank you to everyone behind the scenes that’s helped out in this project, there’s a ton of people that have done so much for this band before anything went public. I am so grateful.
