Your coach site looks premium but 0 bookings? It’s not your offer. It’s your setup.

Most coaching websites make the same 4 mistakes:

1. Generic hero that says “I help people” - not “Career coach for moms in Austin”
2. 8 courses listed - not one signature offer like “12 Week Confidence Program”
3. No booking on every page - no Calendly above fold + sticky button
4. Pretty promises - not proof over promise with real video testimonials

I rebuild WordPress websites for coaches to fix this. Same theme, different setup = 0 calls → 3/week.

Steal my high-converting coaching website setup:

✓ Niche hero section: who + outcome + city
✓ One signature coaching program only
✓ Calendly booking integration above fold + sticky CTA
✓ 2 video reviews under CTA for trust
✓ One clear next step to book discovery call

This is the exact coaching website design checklist I use for life coaches, career coaches, business coaches to turn a premium-looking site into a booking machine.

This coaching template has 7,800 sales. It’s beautiful. But it would lose you clients.

Why? The hero sells the coach, not the transformation.

A burnt-out founder landing on this site thinks: “Okay she’s certified... but can she fix MY 70-hour week?”

Fix I use for life coach websites and business coach WordPress sites:

❌ Headline: “I am a certified life coach with 10 years experience”
✅ Headline: “I help burnt-out founders get 10 hours back per week in 30 days without quitting”

❌ CTA: “Learn More” / “About Me”
✅ CTA: “Book Free Clarity Call”

Your coaching website design should answer 3 things in 5 seconds:
1. Who do you help?
2. What transformation?
3. What to click next?

I audited this public demo of the Coaching theme from ThemeForest for education - not a client site.

What does your hero section say right now? Drop it below, I’ll rewrite 2 for free.

A website can look amazing and still be frustrating to use.

Because good website design isn’t just about:

→ colours
→ fonts
→ animations
→ pretty layouts

It’s also about:

→ clarity
→ navigation
→ readability
→ knowing what to do next

Your visitor shouldn’t have to work to figure out your website.

Pretty gets attention. Usability gets action.

What makes you leave a website almost immediately?

Your website doesn’t need to say everything.

It needs to make the right things easy to understand.

I see websites trying to fit every service, achievement, detail and offer onto one page — and somewhere in all that information, the actual message gets lost.

If someone has to work too hard to figure out:
→ What you do
→ Who you help
→ Why they should trust you
→ What to do next

the website is making them do too much work.

Sometimes the fix isn’t adding another section.

It’s removing the stuff that doesn’t need to be there.

What’s one thing on your website you’re not sure you actually need?

I’m building the Unfiltered Web Dev website.

And the first thing I’m doing?

Not choosing fonts.

Not picking animations.

Not obsessing over the hero section.

I’m figuring out what the website actually needs to accomplish.

Who is it for?

What does someone need to understand?

What pages actually need to exist?

And what should they do next?

Because I can make a website look good pretty quickly.

The harder part is making sure it actually makes sense.

So this build is going to be less “watch me make things pretty” and more:

Here’s what I’m deciding, here’s why, and here’s what I changed when something didn’t make sense.

Let’s build it. 👀

What’s the first thing you think about when you start a website?

A website isn’t finished just because it looks good. 👀

Before I call a website done, I’m checking the things most people don’t notice:

→ Mobile responsiveness
→ Spacing & layout
→ Speed
→ Basic SEO
→ Forms, buttons & links
→ The overall user experience

Because the little things are usually what make a website feel either polished
 or frustrating.

And yes, sometimes that means staring at the same section for way longer than I probably should. 😂

What’s one thing you always notice when you visit a website?

This is a demo website for testing purposes.

Before touching a website, I want to know what actually needs attention.

Because it’s really easy to look at a website and immediately think:

“This needs a redesign.”

But does it?

Maybe the mobile experience is the real issue.
Maybe the message isn’t clear.
Maybe the site is doing way too much behind the scenes and loading like it has nowhere to be. 😂

I’d rather figure that out first.

Fix the actual problem. Then decide what comes next.

That’s usually a much better place to start.

Your website doesn’t always need a redesign.

Sometimes it just needs someone to actually look at it and say:

“This is the problem.”

Maybe it’s too slow.
Maybe mobile is a mess.
Maybe the layout is confusing.
Maybe your visitors have no idea what to click.

That’s what I want to do here.

Real websites. Real problems. No BS.

I’ll be breaking down website problems, sharing things I’d actually fix, and giving honest opinions about what your website does (and doesn’t) need.

If you have a website you’re unsure about, send it my way.

Let’s see what’s actually going on.
