This is 42. 40s have been wild so far. A bit of existential crisis. A bit of getting back to basics. A bit of realizing we are not our intentions we are the sum of our choices and our habits.

It’s crazy to think by the time I’m making this post next year I’ll be a father. We always intended to eventually slow down and have kids, but the universe got tired of waiting and I am so grateful. Sometimes we get what we need when we think we are looking for what we want.

I’m excited to grow our family and excited to be a father.

I’m grateful for Julie, friends, collaborators, colleagues and family I’ve been able to share it with and have helped me along the way.

To Julie, my forever Valentine, I’m so excited to see you become a mother. The joy you bring to life inspires me and I know it will bring so much light to our son’s life. I love you so much.

So here’s to 42. Still finding new adventures. New ways to be creative. New photo projects. New family on the way. 42 is looking pretty good. by @unfixed.exif

I kind of still can’t believe we actually climbed Angles Landing. We first learned about the hike on our first trip to Zion and both felt it was a “fuck no.” But 10 years later we got up at 5am, half expecting to turn around somewhere along the way until we found ourselves at the top. Not as scary as they say and totally worth it. One of the best things we’ve ever done. by @unfixed.exif
