1:17:59 New PR, and qualified for next years NYC marathon, the race that introduced me to marathons and that I’ve wanted to run ever since. Thanks to @run_inverse for the community and support through training and forever grateful for the @ridgewoodrunners squad for being there from the start. Flashback to my first race ever, Richmond Marathon, 2023: I crossed the finish line thinking, “That fucking sucked. I can’t wait to never do that again.”

Then I moved to LA. A city built for runners, filled with clubs stacked to the brim with talent and luckily found a home at @lsd_running. Huge thanks to the entire LSD team for the support and training over the last few months, couldn’t have done it without y’all. Shoutout to @tempo_with_jess & @adrianxvillarreal for coaching me and getting my mind and body to the point of making this possible.

Sub 3, as it was written.

Lastly shoutout to my mom, for not understanding a single part of this but still showing up in the most mom way possible (see last slide).

Anyway, I can’t wait to never do that again.
Fuck Running.
