50 volunteers, more than 30 trash bags, and plenty of odd finds: We really cleaned things up during this year’s campus cleanup event. 🧤🗑️

Students, staff, and members of the local community pitched in with grabbers, gloves, and trash bags. Along with countless beer coasters and cigarette butts, the volunteers discovered items such as torn underwear, hats, and even two bicycle frames - though the wheels were missing. 🚲

The cleanup event was part of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region’s volunteer days, in which the University of Mannheim participated.

A big thank you to everyone who lent a hand! 🤍
