Of course, I’d always rather just go out and ride. But unfortunately, riding my bike alone doesn’t pay the bills. 💅

And honestly? Turning cycling into stories, seeing the angles where others just think of an motorway & creating something together with likeminded people like @carrieskoupy is just as fun 🙌

With another surgery coming up, being partly self-employed also means thinking ahead and getting some content in the bank. I remember all to well how hard the pneumonia hit in the middle of the season.

And as someone who’s usually the first to call out inauthentic content, it’s really important to me that my feed isn’t just a collection of staged photos. But that doesn’t mean these shoot days can’t be fun, too. Sometimes, creating something rather than just documenting a ride - like Ciclovia Alpe Adria last weekend - is part of the joy.

But the best part? When the cameras are finally packed away and there’s still enough time for a proper ride.

Miss „Always Stop at Red“ finally got her moment of revenge for all the Kevins with their Fixies and Günther with his Waffenrad rolled past her, over the red lights, right into traffic - only to be overtaken 25 seconds later when the lights turned green 🙌

Wind jacket season is back 🍂 Anzeige

Cool start, warmer middle, sweaty climbs, windy descents? That’s exactly when I want a wind jacket within reach. Mine is from the @enduraofficial AllTrack collection. I can roll it up in the included pocket and strap it straight to my handlebars. So when the wind picks up, I just grab it, put it on and keep riding. And when I don’t need it, it’s right there, without sacrificing a single pocket.
Because a jacket you actually have with you is a lot more useful than one you left at home. 😉
