Time for pseudo intellectual BS from your favorite person!

(And the crowd goes wild)

No but in all seriousness looking out my window today brought me back to a short story I never finished writing. The idea was that this kid was stuck in a time loop where he kept getting killed in a car accident while hitchhiking. The twist was supposed to be that he had died before ever making it to the car. Like his dad killed him or something and he was just a poltergeist toying with a man who was dying. Over and over again.

I wonder if that's what death is sometimes. Just a never ending loop. Like I know my brain won't be there to process the fact that I have died but how will it, in it's final moments, understand its rapidly approaching non-existence? Can it?

Maybe it just loops everything it knows over and over to you. Maybe I am already dead on the side of the road and my brain just cannot accept that reality.

IDK, someone explain to me in detail how stupid that sounds. TYSM.

I don't wanna end on that note, so here's another thought I had.

If I cannot believe in my own innate goodness, whatever that means, does that mean that I should not believe in the innate goodness of others?

I don't like thinking about that question. Part of reason is cause I don't have an answer, but really I think the issue is that I don't want to say I have an answer.

Because it's irrational. I don't believe that I have innate goodness; I think whatever good I have in me I have had to actively cultivate. I have had to be active in my attempts to be a good person in a way a person who is "innately good" should not. But I also think that all other humans on this earth have a little bit of that "innate goodness" I lack.

As in, that some level of goodness comes naturally to the majority of humanity while I must learn morality through brute force, reasoning, and philosophy. It feels like there are several illogical assumptions in that answer and frankly, I hate the fact that I am (kind of) okay with that.

Like if I never had to justify that answer to another human I would be happy with it. Maybe I'm just mad my understanding of myself cannot be logically supported. by @unidentifiedsnail

You asked for this Kendra. Here it is. It is here. I don't know what to write here. Can you tell? I assume you can. Does anyone actually read this? I'm guessing not. Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo.
