We showed up in Texas ready to listen, and you had plenty to say.

People told us about how they are struggling to keep up with rising rents, grocery bills and healthcare costs. We heard from hardworking people doing everything they can to make ends meet. And of course about the fear, uncertainty and disruption that aggressive ICE enforcement and immigration raids are bringing into neighborhoods, workplaces and families.

These are the everyday realities shaping people’s lives, their sense of security and their hopes for the future.

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors and shared their experiences with us. Your stories matter, and so do your voices.

From skyrocketing insurance premiums and rising housing costs to barriers to affordable healthcare and educational opportunities, Florida families are facing challenges that demand meaningful solutions.

UnidosUS Action PAC is announcing its endorsements of David Jolly for Governor, José Javier Rodriguez for Attorney General, Annette Taddeo for Chief Financial Officer, and Eric Gray (District 35), Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet (District 42), Samuel Vilchez Santiago (District 43), Leonard Spencer (District 45), Lucia Baez-Geller (District 106), and Gloria Romero Roses (District 113) for the Florida State House, reflecting our commitment to advancing policies that address the everyday needs of working families across the state.

Our state legislative priorities include:

🏠 Holding insurance companies accountable and addressing rising property insurance costs that are putting homeownership out of reach for too many families.
🔑 Making homeownership more attainable by expanding access to affordable housing and creating more opportunities for first-time homebuyers.
🏥 Expanding access to affordable healthcare, including Medicaid, so more working families can get the care they need.
🎓 Investing in education and opportunities for young adults to prepare the next generation of leaders and create pathways to successful careers and economic mobility.

Florida families deserve policies that make it easier to build a future, achieve financial stability and thrive in the communities they call home.

From the grocery store to the gas pump, from rising rent to healthcare costs, Florida families are feeling the pressure of an increasingly unaffordable economy.

UnidosUS Action PAC is announcing its endorsements of Angie Nixon for U.S. Senate and representatives Congressman Darren Soto (FL-09), Congresswoman Kathy Castor (FL-14), Kelly Kirschner (FL-16) and Elliot Rodriguez (FL-27) for the U.S. House of Representatives, reflecting our commitment to advancing policies that address the challenges facing Florida’s working families.

We need leaders who are committed to:

🛒 Lowering everyday costs by ending Trump administration tariffs that increase prices on groceries and consumer goods.
🏠 Making housing more affordable by increasing housing supply and cracking down on rent gouging.
⛽ Lowering gas prices by pursuing an end to the Iran war and addressing corporate price gouging at the pump.
🏥 Protecting affordable healthcare by safeguarding Medicaid and lowering health insurance premiums for working families.
⚖️ Demanding accountability in immigration enforcement by ensuring federal agencies follow the law, respect constitutional rights and remain accountable to our communities.

Floridians deserve meaningful solutions to the issues affecting their families, livelihoods and futures.

Pennsylvania’s Latino voters are ready to make their voices heard. 🗳️🔥

This week, we rallied at the State Capitol in Harrisburg alongside Latino leaders, advocates, labor, faith and community partners with one message: our communities have the power to shape what happens next — and we’re mobilizing to use it.

Thank you to @repjohanny PA D-129, Constance Lumb @aftpaunion, Angel Figueroa leader and advocate in PA10, @repmannyguzman PA D-127, and @reppowell – House District 21.

This event was the PA launch of *Vamos a Votar, our national coalition with *LULAC, Latino Victory and Mi Familia Vota working together to inform, engage and mobilize Latino voters ahead of November.

From the rising cost of groceries and housing to wages, jobs and health care, Latino voters are focused on the issues affecting their families every day. And this November, we’re turning those priorities into action at the ballot box.

Harrisburg was just the beginning. Through Vamos a Votar, we’re organizing in Pennsylvania and across the country to make sure Latino voters have the information, resources and confidence to make their voices heard.

Vamos a votar. Our voices. Our priorities. Our power.

UnidosUS Action Fund had the privilege of hosting reporter Nick Valencia in Allentown, PA this past weekend to meet with voters ahead of the midterm this November. UnidosUS Action Fund lead organizers Carol Obando and Yamelisa Taveras knocked on doors to hear directly from residents and their concerns.

They later sat down at Ay Bendito @aybenditopr cafe to spend time with Puerto Rican voters who supported Donald Trump and who are feeling dissatisfied with how things are going. The conversation gave people space to talk about their concerns in their own words.

Thank you to Nick for coming out and to Carol and Yamelisa for leading the effort. More importantly, thanks to the community members who took the time to speak with us. by @unidosusaf
