Behind the mask lies an obsession with scent. 🐦‍⬛

An ancient aesthetic. A modern craft. A little madness in every creation.

From delicate florals to intoxicating woods, smoky resins, and forbidden accords, every blend tells a different story.

This Halloween, step into the darker side of perfumery.

🍄 MYCELIUM CITY | A Kingdom in the Making

A thriving network of mycelium taking over this sterilized millet grain jar, transforming individual grains into one interconnected colony.

Dense, fluffy white growth as the mycelium continues expanding and consuming its nutrient-rich grain supply.

Every mushroom cultivation starts somewhere, and this kingdom is still growing.

Cultivated in-house at Unique As U Boutique & Apothecary.

Unexpected garden guest! Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, commonly called the yellow flowerpot parasol, popped up alongside the mint. This bright yellow mushroom feeds on decomposing organic matter in rich, moist soil and is a common sight in gardens and houseplants. Beautiful to look at—but not for eating! 🌱 by @unique.as.u

24 hours into the new block 🍄‍🟫

This Blue Oyster is wasting NO time.

Less than 24 hours after mixing my fully colonized millet grain spawn into the new Master’s Mix block, the mycelium is already aggressively pushing through the substrate.

So far my fave thing about mycology is watching the mushrooms grow 🤓 taken in Lynwood, California by @unique.as.u
