As crazy as life is- my goal was to get storage totally cleaned out by the 20th so I wouldn’t be charged again. And we made it by the 14th!!

Mostly me, but some help from my nieces and my sister one day!! My nieces also had more faith than me 😂. Every time I opened it, I thought oh no! I’m never going to make it!

I didn’t need that extra business expense that I could be using for other business things. And I hated going down there in the winter when it’s dark and slippery. So I’m relieved!! by @uniquelydesigneditems

Even with everything going on with mom, Josie and I managed to work on storage. They added $30 a month and $13 insurance to DRIVE on the property. I wanted to get out because it’s dark and a steep driveway that doesn’t get plowed after it snows. But this gave me the push.

Unfortunately I think the last half is going to be the worst! Because I wouldn’t have storage if I didn’t need it 😂

Josie was way more motivated than I thought!! She would have kept going but after two days I said, I need a break and I need to organize at home first. And I still need shipping supplies for Q4 🤦🏻‍♀️ by @uniquelydesigneditems

I engraved my first travel coffee cup!!! This one is for a friend that has a birthday coming up and I always think what’s a better time to learn something new? He’s an amazing friend that was Gene’s doctor and we have remained friends. I’m just crossing off his name for privacy.

I’ll definitely be listing these soon!! And thanks to Charles Shyne for helping me with settings!! I bought my P2 laser from him and he’s amazing! I’ll post his business separately! by @uniquelydesigneditems

Even when life is crazy, orders still happen and I’m so glad!! Still getting family reunion orders and pencil orders for school!! And adding new ideas for Christmas!! It really is time to think about the holidays!! I hope to work on the laser soon (not that I haven’t been however I want to try some new products!) by @uniquelydesigneditems

It’s been a long time since I’ve talked about my children’s books. ❤️

Somewhere between growing my businesses, creating new products, learning lasers and sublimation, skating early mornings, packing orders, and just trying to keep up with life… I got a little quiet about them.

But the truth is, books like Grandpa’s Little Signs and Auntie’s Invisible Crown still mean so much to me because they were written from very real pieces of my heart.

They were never just “products” to me.

They were written for children navigating grief, love after loss, invisible illness, hope, signs, healing, and all the big feelings adults sometimes struggle to explain.

And honestly… I’m not done writing children’s books. 😊

I already have one or two new ideas sitting in my heart waiting for the right time.

Right now, I’m trying to stay focused on growing my business and building the future I’ve worked so hard for, but storytelling will always be part of who I am.

So maybe this is just my gentle little way of saying:
the books are still here…
I’m still here…
and there are more stories to come someday. ❤️.

P.S. I can’t even explain how grateful and happy it makes me when someone tells me one of my books helped a child or family feel a little more understood, comforted, or less alone. That will always mean the world to me by @uniquelydesigneditems
