Back in March, I shared this as an early sample. . But the story behind this one goes back even further. . I’ve been working on this tee since January 2026, but the idea really started years ago — on trips to the corner store with my cousin, or stopping at the neighborhood Chinese spot with my mom. Vess was everywhere when I was a kid. . And that’s what made it stick with me. . It wasn’t just soda.
It was the city.
It was the corner store.
It was fried rice and a pineapple Vess.
Penny candy and a soda before the bike ride home.
Small moments, but they meant something. . I knew Vess was bigger than a drink.
It was part of the culture.
Part of the neighborhood.
Part of what St. Louis felt like. . The Unity Bottling Co. Tee is my homage to that era. . This one is about nostalgia, but it’s also about identity.
About taking something familiar, local, and ours — and turning it into something you can wear with pride. . Unity in design.

Part 3: Notes from the process. . I’m realizing it’s one thing to ask for the blessing… but it’s a whole different thing to be ready when it actually shows up. . We talk a lot about manifesting. Praying for the opportunity. Waiting on the door to open. Asking for that next level. . But when it comes, that’s when the real work starts. . You need discipline to keep it. Wisdom to move with it. Life had to sit me down for a minute. I had to look inward and be honest with myself. Somewhere along the way, I was chasing other brands, other designs, other ideas, moving away from what made this original in the first place. That pause became a reset. The ER-DAY Sweats came from that reset. They’re a basic line by design, because this is about rebuilding from the foundation. A rebirth of Unity Studios. No noise. No trend-chasing. Just intention. The name ER-DAY comes straight from St. Louis lingo. Salute to Nelly and the culture that raised me. Everybody has “everyday sweats”. I just wanted to put my own homegrown twist on something familiar and make it ours. This is only the beginning. More is coming. The next chapter is already loading.
