I normally don’t get on here talking like this…

Mainly because I am not a philosopher, motivational speaker, or a man with a podcast mic in front of a bookshelf. 😭

But I’m trying to be more transparent and speak a little more.

Some drops shake the room.
.
Some drops look around like, “dang… y’all not rocking with this?” 😭

But that’s the game.

You win some, you lose some, but you live to fight another day.

Not every idea hits when you expect it to. Sometimes the timing is off, sometimes the world isn’t ready, and sometimes you just gotta take the lesson, laugh a little, and keep creating.

Unity Studios is still here—learning, growing, refining, and shooting our shot until everything clicks the way it’s supposed to.

The older I get, the more I realize this…
Success isn’t about never feeling doubt.
It’s about how fast you stop letting it drive.

You’re going to feel discouraged.
You’re going to overthink.
You’re going to question yourself.
That’s part of building anything worth having.

The difference is…
Some people move into those emotions.
Others decide to live there.
.
I’ve learned that one bad day doesn’t need to become a bad week. One slow sale doesn’t mean the vision is dead. One setback doesn’t erase all the work you’ve already put in.

Your comeback starts the moment you stop feeding the feeling.
Get back to the work.

Your environment is creating you, even when you’re not paying attention.

I’m learning that you don’t just become what you want. You become what you keep letting in.

What you watch.
What you read.
What you listen to.

The pages you follow.
The conversations you replay.
The people you keep around you.
.
All of it is feeding something. Your vision or your doubt.
.
Your discipline or your distractions. Your growth or your excuses.

As I build Unity Studios, I’m realizing the work isn’t just the product. It’s not just the drop.

It’s protecting the mindset that has to carry the dream.

Because you can’t build something intentional while constantly consuming things that pull you away from who you’re trying to become.

There was a point where I almost talked myself out of these.
.
I kept seeing other brands release shorts and started wondering if I had missed my window.
.
Were they too trendy?
Was I too late?
Was I just making something that already existed?
.
Then I remembered something…
.
Fashion has always been bigger than the product.
It’s about the person wearing it.
The story behind it.
The feeling it leaves with you.
.
So I stopped comparing.
I trusted my eye.
I trusted my creativity.
And, most importantly…
.
I trusted myself.
.
These aren’t here because they’re trending.
They’re here because they represent another chapter in the story I’m trying to tell.

I’m realizing it’s one thing to ask for the blessing…
but it’s a whole different thing to be ready when it actually shows up.
.
We talk a lot about manifesting.
Praying for the opportunity.
Waiting on the door to open.
Asking for that next level.
.
But when it comes, that’s when the real work starts.
.
You need discipline to keep it.
Wisdom to move with it.
Patience to grow through it.
And enough faith to not fumble what you once prayed for.

I’m realizing a lot of this journey is less about looking like you’re working and more about actually becoming the person who can handle what you’re asking for.

Because you can fake a rollout.
You can fake being busy.
You can fake having it all figured out for the camera.

But you can’t fake the reps.

The late nights, the quiet lessons, the mistakes, the flops, the small wins nobody sees — that’s the part that really builds you.
I’m still figuring it out in real time, but one thing I know for sure: we’re not stopping.
