Never in my entire life did I imagine that I would ever set foot in Guyana. I was amazed by the size, infrastructure and diversity of the country. A country next to Suriname yet completely different. A former British colony based in South America, Culturally part of the Caribbean, where an English based Patois is spoken, with Dutch street & village names and where the most predominatly etnic group is of South Asian heritage. You litteraly hear Oldscool Bollywood music EVERYWHERE. This trip changed how I view this earthy realm and the space I take up here. Spontaneous trips are ALWAYS the best. I truly am grateful. I always wanted to travel the world since I was a 17 year old gurl, here I am fulfilling all wishes of my inner teenager.
