Originally to fix the pinhole in the water fount I was gonna solder it, but I realized that ran the risk of desoldering older joints or burning through thin spots as the casting method used is relatively primitive. So I had to go the “lazy route” and patch it with JB Weld. by @universalcraftsman40

Biggest problem solved: in order to fit a modern bowl I had to create a way from going from the half inch hole on the stem to a male connector to fit into the bottom of the bowl. Main piece is turned maple, the top stud is bras tubing and the grommet is a piece of cork ground to shape and tapered. Next it the downstem by @universalcraftsman40

Finally got the exhaust vent made, went for a more industrial look but wanted to do something other than the smoke stack like most grills. Originally tried to make the adjuster removable (hence the set screw) but got pissed off and welded it cause it kept slipping taken in Inglewood, Nashville, Tennessee by @universalcraftsman40

Finally getting to a project I’ve been putting off for a long time, converting this old air compressor tank into a charcoal grill. Next I’ll be welding in the stop rim for the main door and cut out/attach the hinges for the ash door taken in East Nashville, Tennessee by @universalcraftsman40
