As some of you may know, my sweet Peanut crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday after 14 and a half long years of a happy, loved life.

Peanut had heart and kidney failure for a while before his passing and its no small miracle he lived as long as he did. He was my first dog, my best friend, and my childhood adventure partner, always up for a walk or run or a game of keepaway.

I will always love my sweet boy. Please hug your own fur babies a little closer for me. by @universally.rey

life lately has been cold, sunny, and loving. :)

august isnt heavy, it isnt withdrawing, it isn’t hiding. it's the smell of expo markers, bee-themed amazon orders, and the solidity of stable ground under my feet. it's joyful, it's bright, it's whimsical, it's dancing with my class until my feet hurt.

and just like that, despite all attempts otherwise, it's all done. i rebuilt myself and my life and now i can fly.

march!!! a spectacular month :) i cried (a lot) but also laughed (a lot more). ive made so many new and beautiful connections (i tagged a few :)), ive been to so many new places. im so grateful every day for another chance at this wonderful life of mine 🪶💕

after months of research, drafting, editing, rewriting, editing again, peer review, and practice, i have finally completed my senior capstone for my BA in English :) all that stands between me and that diploma is an internship now.

so much love and a hundred blessings to my colleagues and compatriots who followed me on journeys of their own, along with my wonderful family (both born and found).
and a special thanks to @bouldercreekcoffee and @vonai.barchue (the best matcha barista!) for always giving me a safe, beautiful space and wonderful amounts of caffeine to help me crack out my sixty-five (65!!!) pages of this massive undertaking.
