POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today we are excited to reveal the lineup for this year’s anniversary party.

Five years of Murkwood. This is a special one.

Five years of community, five years of dancing, five years of sound system experiences.

Sitting at the core of Murkwood is the ethos “future meets past”. “Forward looking meets roots”. As we’ve said before, culture is a living tapestry and we must all do our part to respect the past while moving forward into the future. Every event is meant to champion this message, and the anniversary especially so. Our three featured guests this year — @montysbeats, @numacrewofficial and @hunterreedmusic, each exemplify this in their own ways alongside a very overdue return play of @terminaldubz to kick the night off for us.

Join us at The Sanctuary on Neil on October 24th, 2026 and celebrate our 5 year anniversary with us. As with all anniversary parties this is a costumes required Halloween party — showing up day-of-show with no costume will result in a $5 party pooper tax (plus applicable fees) being charged to you on entry!

Served, as always, on uncompromising PK Sound.

See you in the dance. taken in The Sanctuary on Neil by @universallynull

This wasn’t even the craziest crowd reaction of the night, absolutely stellar engagement from our community!

🔊 NOV. 21 — LOCK IN. 🔊

Two stages, one night, & a @universallynull TAKEOVER 👌

We’re bringing UK bass heavyweight @enigmadubzofficial through for a full-spectrum set. You can expect a variety of dark & heavy bass lines to atmospheric synths, soundscapes, & acoustic work. He’ll be flexing dubstep, future garage, grime, liquid DnB, and everything lurking between the cracks.

So much love to everyone that made it out this past Saturday to kick off summer with us and resident @powers_up for our long-awaited welcome back party of @defy_culture in the forms of @chief.kaya @tunictunes and @king_shotta_777 and an even MORE long awaited return of Murkwood alumni @wubiverse

This was a really special one — thank you to our venue hosts @redtreetattoo, production team @texture_productions, VJs @_bloomvisuals @affect.av and @jonsedlak222, friends that pulled up to play during the potluck, promoting and operations teams, the artists and craftspeople that came out to display their art for us, and of course the community that shows out month after month for sound system culture and the dance. We accomplished some great things this weekend introducing folks to Columbus’s first and only sound system party and the Null Entertainment way of getting down.

Something about dancing in the rain to dubstep really leaves an impression.

OUR NEXT MURKWOOD IS @pushloopmusic AND @contra.slaps ON JULY 31
