I’m honored to join the @RecordingAcademy’s 2025 New Member Class—an inspiring global community of creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music.

As a member, I now have a voice in the GRAMMY Awards process and a platform to advocate for our industry, support my peers, and grow in my own journey.

What makes the Academy strong is its diversity—of genres, experiences, and voices. I’m excited to contribute my perspective and help champion musical excellence around the world. #IAmTheAcademy

Blessings!! Never really show this side of work but maintenance can be fun sometimes lol.

Today I’m going to show what’s the process like repairing one of the Bass Drivers (ATC SB75-234SL) from the custom ATC SCM110ASL Pro right here at @geejamhotel studio my second home.

The ATC SCM110ASL Pro is a high-end, active 3-way studio monitor pair designed for medium-to-large control rooms, mixing, and film re-recording stages made by the prestigious British Company ATC aka ATC (Acoustic Transducer Company)

A little bit of history:
This company is owned by Loudspeaker Technology Ltd.) is a British audio manufacturer founded in 1974 in Stroud, England. They build hand-made loudspeakers and audio electronics for both professional recording studios and home hi-fi systems.

Enough of the nerding around I hope you guys enjoy the process!!! taken in GeeJam Studios by @universvlz

October Dump

Word of the day: TRUNCATE (trʌŋˈkeɪt)

Truncating audio means shortening an audio file by cutting off unwanted sections at the beginning or end, or automatically reducing the length of silent pauses and dead air within the track. by @universvlz

Sgo day 1 Beat 4 ft @justinwyattmusic

Improvement isn’t a single massive leap; it’s the quiet, daily decision to show up. This beat realistically took me 3 months to get the drums and Piano groove right lol

What to learn here:

1% better every day: You don’t need to rebuild your life overnight. Small, steady efforts compound over time into massive transformations.

Progress over perfection: A messy 10-minute effort beats waiting for the “perfect” mood or setting to begin.
Focus on direction, not speed: It doesn’t matter how fast you are moving as long as you are moving toward who you want to become.

Forgive the setbacks: Bad days aren’t proof of failure; they are just part of the process. Rest, reset, and keep going. by @universvlz

FEELING

A feeling is the conscious, subjective awareness of an emotional state or physical sensation.

Went back to my 2015 Hard drive and got back to it. And immediately starting to have fun again!

Feeling the music is so important that’s my biggest concern when I’m creating, “how this groove feel”
And that’s a certain thing a “certain intelligence” can’t replicate by @universvlz
