As summer enters full swing, we’ve brought back two label regulars for a hot & heavy tune! The original is as steamy as they come; HRVST hits us in the face with his unique style, always creating & showcasing his cooked-from-scratch sounds & rhythms. 22 Weeks has taken these ingredients & assembled them into a certified club wrecker & festival destroyer. The songs may be synthetic, but the effects they will have on the dancefloor are very real.

Colombia meets Miami on our latest EP. Hassio (COL) returns to the fold, bringing along friends Diego Play & Bluee for a tough acid track with well placed vocals & Chicago house stabs that keep the tune rolling along. For the remix we bring it back home to Miami, as we welcome Abuekev to the label with his take. Taking the edge of the acid but upping the energy, the timely minimal-inspired take remains true to both the house & techno foundation of the original.

Two veteran label talents have teamed up on a summer release that covers a great deal of ground. Blaze Orange’s new single is a deep, bassline-driven cut with vocals that dance atop carefully crafted stabs. DJ Limbo is a label favorite. His unique songwriting illustrates a sincere maturity, while his sound design always sounds youthful & fresh. It’s a striking combination & that signature sound is on full display on his latest single. A hypnotic bass rhythm takes center stage, with vocals & a captivating melodic lead providing the song’s gravitas. Label head Doc Brown tackles the remix, adding some swing & paying homage to the original with a few deeper house elements.

When it came to her latest remix @zofdj was burnin’ up the DAW, specifically with the vocal chops. Unlearn a few things about how she approached both making & placing them in her remix for @nikikeys_.

Newcomer to the label Niki Keys debuts with a beautiful melodic tune that shows a remarkable range. A haunting vocal dances effortlessly atop a pulsing rhythm and a razor-sharp lead, with impressive vocal processing & sound design throughout. ZOF ups the energy on the remix, keeping the melodic & tech vibes but adding her idiosyncratic style, using vocal chops & new synth lines to tie the song’s ideas together in a unique expression as only she could. Alcatraz might not be for everyone, but @gawpmusic assures us Leeds is! Unlearn a few things about the label artist’s hometown & be sure to check out his new single, which comes with a killer @djeskuche remix.

GAWP is back on the label, and this time he’s brought a tune that hits harder than being sentenced to life on The Rock. Punchy drums weave in & out as heavily processed vocal bits & toothy stabs dot the spaces in between, culminating in a frenzy before returning to the methodical earworm from which it came. On the remix we welcome Eskuche to the label, who has given us an remix both seasoned & seasonable as he positions himself to take more steps forward artistically.

With spring in full swing, we are happy to bring two new artists into the fold with a release that perfectly captures the label aesthetic. Both artists have been on our radar for quite some time, and it’s easy to see why. Oscar N’s original is gritty, heavy & tough, rounded out with a rolling bassline; AMPRS&ND’s remix plays on the original theme with clever loops & a chunky, punchy feel. The release will leave you wanting more well into the summer & beyond!
