This morning. No words. So I’ll listen:

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Parenting isn’t easy. Sometimes you don’t want to admit it, but you feel like walking away!

Get out of the heat and join in tonight’s Sunday Sage time at 7:30 p.m. with the Unleashed to Lead community. I’m so thrilled to have feature Don Heindel ….. he just released his honest, raw and encouraging book on the topic. Send/forward to anyone, especially struggling parents you know….I think it’ll be an encouragement to them!

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity". — Proverbs 17:17

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1

Another great walk this past Thursday with my brothers Brad, Tom and Jeff. Look at little brother Jeff….7.5 miles after just having knee replacement!! Special moments. God is good!

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” — Proverbs 17:17

God works in mysterious ways! Over 40 years ago a brave teenager had to flee his broken country of Iran, alone and barely speaking English, and in God’s sovereignty our paths crossed when he arrived. I couldn’t be more proud, and inspired, by Afshin’s courage and resilience. He seized the opportunity in his freedom and became a very successful attorney here in Bethesda. It was so good to catch up today. I am grateful for your friendship and impact on my life my brother!

Here’s a reminder for my every Sunday night 7:30 p.m. EST zoom. Thanks for your encouragement as the “Unleashed to Lead” community grows. Would love for you to come whenever you can and get your feedback! Link at the bottom.

They are usually only 30 minutes, but tonight, Sunday, March 1, 7:30 eastern is a special “Sage Sunday” as I have my friend James LeBlanc, author of “The Miracle”. An amazing recovery story! Please spread the word to anyone and everyone who might be interested, who loves leadership and personal development! Link below.

(Below is the general reminder I’m sending out to others…😊…with the link below):

Before the week begins, take these few minutes to direct your mindset and focus. We consider a word/leadership thought to help us improve and have a brief conversation around that while we connect with others on the same life-long development journey. We need each other!

We are doing this brief connection every Sunday at 7:30 p.m. EST. They are always just 30 minutes unless it’s the first Sunday, which is “Sage Sunday”, which goes longer with Q and A. Of course, you can drop off whenever you need to. Come whenever you can! Let me know if I can add you to the calendar invite if you’re not on already. And let me know your best email so you get the weekly email/newsletter/information….Thanks!

Join the Sunday night Zoom calls here:

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

What a fantastic first day! It is so good to be in a room full of excellence and learn from, and with, the best. It really makes a positive difference to be in great rooms! AI can’t touch this.

We had an incredibly beautiful, crisp day today for our 7.5 miles around the lake! Great conversation…but, surprise, we didn’t solve all the world’s problems. We’ll give it a shot next Thursday.

There are very few people who know more about the life that a continuing care retirement community can bring to a person than Sherry Parrish. My Aging and Management class was blessed to have her as our guest yesterday! She shared the great opportunities, and also some pictures of her latest crafting endeavors, a new “career” spurred on by seeing residents over the years take on new interests after they “retired”. Thank you Sherry….you have always been an encouragement to me, and thousands of others!
