Back in November 2022

I was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Guillain-Barré syndrome. In a matter of 2 weeks I lost all functions from the neck down, lost 40 pounds of muscle and lost the ability to speak.
All I was worried about was when I was going to be able to get back on the field, lace them pads up, strap up my helmet and do what I love the most. Many doctors had told me it was near impossible to play this year, but they had no idea of what I was capable of. After 6 months of rehabilitation I was back on the field with the pads strapped up, defying every and all odds.
This year has been filled with countless hours of love, pain, sweat and tears but I’m beyond grateful for having my family, loved ones and my teammate’s to help me get back on my feet.
Another big shoutout and thank you all my doctors and my whole medical team that helped me get back, I’m beyond blessed to have received such support.

That being said, we back in the lab.🫡🥷🏽
