*warning: long but very meaningful post* I met @kahhspence about 5ish years ago at an activation for OGX. He was participating as a beauty expert for the brand and I was on site as the lawyer who made sure everyone stuck to the script. Kahh’s personality is infectious and I was instantly inspired by his creativity, ambition and ability to intelligently command the audience. I just HAD to meet him. Fast forward to now, I have been so immensely proud to support his growth. But we’re both genuine givers. I told Kahh that I have dreams of becoming an influencer. He has encouraged me, given me tips but bigger than anything, he asked ME to be a model for his first and most important project to date: the launch of his luxury, fragrance and personal care brand @samirgrey.co To say that I’m honored is an understatement. To embark on this journey with Kahh, knowing that it is anchored in the memory of his mom and unapologetic self-care is the type of life moment that fuels your soul. Kahh has worked tirelessly on this launch and when I tell you, he put his ALL into this debut fragrance…whew chileeee!! The details are impeccable, the scent combination is hypnotizing and the product delivers the painstaking quality that is often neglected by major brands. It is truly the ONE. This is my gratitude letter to Kahh and Samir Grey. Thank you for allowing me to experience your growth, your evolution and your passion. Speaker Spotlight Introducing Rachelle is Counsel at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Inc., where she partners with teams across 75 Maisons to help bring bold creative concepts to consumers. Previously, she spent a decade at Johnson & Johnson as Assistant General Counsel – Trademarks and Board Attorney for the Vogue Haircare Franchise, providing global commercial guidance. She began her in-house career at Burberry focusing on anti-counterfeiting, after starting in private practice in Proskauer’s False Advertising and Trademark group. Outside of work, Rachelle co-founded and serves on the board of the Unlocked Foundation, a women-led nonprofit creating judgment-free conversations about money to help close the wealth gap. She is also a Board Member of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and an Advisory Board Member for the University of Miami School of Law’s Entertainment and Sports Law Program. At LVMH, she serves as Co-Chair of the Northeast Chapter of EllesVMH, the company’s gender-equity ERG. Rachelle earned her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
