OPEN MODEL CASTING
Unloved Daughters is casting female and female-presenting models (18+) who are 5’10” (178cm) or above to take part in our upcoming Avant-Garde catwalk this November.

No previous modelling experience is required. Selected models will receive professional catwalk coaching throughout the process.

Models must be available for:
• Up to three fittings
• An editorial photoshoot
• The runway show in November

This project marks a significant moment for Unloved Daughters as we present our debut runway production. We’re creating an ambitious fashion experience that will introduce a new kind of contemporary fashion presentation to Leicester.

CARRION
Carrion birds are often associated with death, but they also symbolise renewal and transformation, giving new purpose to what has been left behind.

Handmade from thousands of torn strips of reclaimed fabric, each one stretched and manipulated by hand, Carrion transforms discarded textiles into a dramatic sculptural coat. The layered strips create movement and texture that echo the silhouette of dark feathers.

Part of the Unloved Daughters collection, where forgotten materials and forgotten stories are given a new life.

We’re looking for interns to help bring our debut collection to life.

This isn’t a conventional fashion internship.

You’ll work alongside the Unloved Daughters team creating an avant-garde collection inspired by the hidden histories of women, transforming historical research into contemporary wearable art.

Expect to experiment with unconventional materials, artisan craft techniques, hand embellishment, textile manipulation and innovative pattern cutting as we build each piece from concept through to the runway.

If you’re curious, creative and excited by fashion as a form of storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideal for fashion students, recent graduates and emerging creatives looking to gain meaningful hands-on experience within an independent studio.
