🇬🇧 Our Summer of Unlimited Music

What a summer! Thank you to everyone who joined us for UNLTD at the 2026 Verbier Festival — on the mountain, in the streets, in concert venues and in some of the more unexpected corners of Verbier.

UNLTD is an invitation to experience the Verbier Festival differently: to follow your curiosity, discover artists and music you might not already know, encounter familiar music in new ways and explore more of what the Festival has to offer. No rules about what you need to know. Just come curious.

To the artists who took us somewhere new, our partners who made so much possible and every one of you who came along for the ride: thank you for sharing our Summer of Unlimited Music.

We can’t wait to welcome even more curious music-lovers into the UNLTD community in 2027. See you next summer!

Quel été ! Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui nous ont rejoints pour UNLTD au Verbier Festival 2026 — en montagne, dans les rues, dans les lieux de concert et dans quelques-uns des endroits les plus inattendus de Verbier.

UNLTD est une invitation à vivre le Verbier Festival autrement : suivre sa curiosité, découvrir des artistes et des musiques que l’on ne connaît pas encore, retrouver des œuvres familières sous un nouveau jour et explorer tout ce que le Festival a à offrir. Pas besoin de mode d’emploi. Venez simplement avec votre curiosité.

Aux artistes qui nous ont emmenés ailleurs, à nos partenaires qui ont rendu tant de choses possibles et à toutes celles et ceux qui ont partagé l’aventure avec nous : merci d’avoir partagé notre été d’Unlimited Music.

Nous avons hâte d’accueillir encore plus de mélomanes curieux au sein de la communauté UNLTD en 2027. Rendez-vous l’été prochain !

🇬🇧 Nuit Coucou

Swiss National Day ended with Nuit Coucou, as Compagnie Zappar’s Enfant Sauvage wandered through the streets of Verbier alongside a magical lantern procession created during the week’s lantern-making workshops.

A poetic evening where giant puppets, music and light transformed the streets of Verbier.

🇫🇷 Nuit Coucou

La Fête nationale suisse s’est achevée avec Nuit Coucou, où Enfant Sauvage de la Compagnie Zappar a parcouru les rues de Verbier aux côtés d’une procession de lanternes réalisée lors des ateliers de fabrication de lanternes organisés tout au long de la semaine.

Une soirée poétique où marionnettes géantes, musique et lumière ont transformé les rues de Verbier.

🇬🇧 MARILYN: Some Like It Hot

A full house at South welcomed one of this summer’s highlights, as the Verbier Festival Academy’s Atelier Lyrique joined forces with the Fibonacci Quartet, Sofía Ros (accordion) and James Baillieu (piano) for Marilyn: Some Like It Hot.

Inspired by the songs made famous by Marilyn Monroe, the evening blended cabaret, chamber music and storytelling in a celebration of one of Hollywood’s greatest icons.

Le South a fait salle comble pour l’un des temps forts de l’été, réunissant les chanteurs de l’Atelier Lyrique de la Verbier Festival Academy, le Fibonacci Quartet, Sofía Ros (accordéon) et James Baillieu (piano) dans Marilyn : Some Like It Hot.

Inspiré des chansons rendues célèbres par Marilyn Monroe, le spectacle mêlait cabaret, musique de chambre et narration dans un hommage à l’une des plus grandes icônes d’Hollywood.

🇬🇧 Sunset Sonore

As the sun set over Verbier, DJ NikoBeats provided the soundtrack for Sunset Sonore on the terrace of La Table Verbier. Festival artists, audiences and friends gathered overlooking the Alps for one final UNLTD celebration of the 2026 Verbier Festival.

🇬🇧 Rolando Luna Trio

One of Cuba’s most celebrated pianists brought the rhythm, spontaneity and joy of improvisation to a sold-out Le Cinéma. Joined by his trio, Rolando Luna delivered an evening where jazz, Afro-Cuban traditions and boundless musical imagination came together in true UNLTD spirit.

🇬🇧 Lighting up Swiss National Day.

On 1 August, families, Festival audiences and visitors took to the streets of Verbier for Nuit Coucou, a joyful lantern procession led by Compagnie Zappar.

Carrying lanterns created during UNLTD workshops throughout the Festival, participants filled the village with music, light and imagination in a celebration of Switzerland’s National Day.

Le 1er août, familles, festivaliers et visiteurs ont parcouru les rues de Verbier à l’occasion de Nuit Coucou, une procession de lanternes menée par la Compagnie Zappar.

Munis des lanternes réalisées lors des ateliers UNLTD tout au long du Festival, petits et grands ont illuminé le village dans une célébration de la Fête nationale suisse, entre musique, lumière et imagination.

MARILYN: Some Like It Hot

The singers of the Verbier Festival Academy’s Atelier Lyrique stepped into the world of Marilyn Monroe for an intimate cabaret inspired by the songs that made her a Hollywood icon.

Featuring Estere Katrīna Pogiņa, Eden Shifroni, Arina Verevkina, Emily Rocha and Josephine Shaw, Marilyn: Some Like It Hot brought glamour, wit and timeless music to the final days of the Festival.

🇬🇧 One last day, Verbier!

Our Summer of Unlimited Music is coming to a close—but not before one final celebration.

Join us at Sunset Sonore as DJ NikoBeats fills the terrace at La Table Verbier with funk and house grooves against one of the most spectacular views in the Alps. Raise a glass, enjoy the sunset and celebrate an unforgettable Festival together.

Thank you for sharing this summer with us. We’ll see you one last time.

Notre été Unlimited Music touche à sa fin… mais il nous reste une dernière soirée à partager.

Retrouvez-nous à Sunset Sonore, où DJ NikoBeats fera vibrer la terrasse de La Table Verbier au rythme de ses sets funk et house, face à l’un des plus beaux panoramas des Alpes. Un dernier verre, un dernier coucher de soleil et une dernière soirée pour célébrer ensemble cette édition du Festival.

🇬🇧 First Listen

One of this summer’s most original Academy projects came from Sofía Ros, Creative Project Development Resident of the Verbier Festival Academy.

In First Listen, Sofía brought together Academy musicians, poetry, storytelling and the accordion in a programme inspired by musical traditions from across Europe and South America—an invitation to listen in new ways.

🇬🇧 A Balade Musicale with a fabulous finale.

This week’s Balade Musicale climbed to the iconic Cabane Mont Fort, guided by Cherries, who introduced walkers to the remarkable alpine flora along the trail.

Waiting at the summit? Our favourite diva, Madame Catherine D’Oex, with a drag brunch unlike any other.

One of those days that could only happen at UNLTD.
