⚔️ okie dokie here’s the story on this year+ projectGiven the state of live-action batsuits lately, and after having done two reimaginations on the Pattinson suit, @unmaskedstudio and I were itching to do something different and the comic look for Wolverine was something on my mind for the longest time. But not just the traditional look - something that hasn’t done been before, contemporary, and perhaps more striking (pun intended)In terms of timeline, I anticipated the MCU’s card to play would be to reintroduce the X-Men after Disney’s acquisition of Fox, though I thought it would have happened much sooner after Endgame and No Way Home… I am a little surprised with the direction that the MCU has gone, but that’s another discussion. Point being, I knew Wolverine in 2023/24 would most likely be appropriate timing (though the strikes have obviously complicated everything)And then @vancityreynolds (who usually has the right idea) announced Hugh’s return for Deadpool 3 and that was when I knew for sure that this needed happen. Given Ryan’s fidelity to Deadpool, it was obvious we were going to eventually get the blue and yellow!I’ve also been a huge fan of @jsmarantz’s movie concepts and his design was for an abandoned X-Men project. While I absolutely love his other takes (and I might explore them again someday), this one took the cake for me. Thanks for the inspiration Jerad! Then we got the rumors suggesting the blue and yellow suit while @unmaskedstudio was coincidentally wrapping this up, and eventually the photo leaks. I was both excited/curious to see how our suit would stack up, and ngl, I prefer mine, though I’m very satisfied with Hugh’s suit as well. @hampton_creations_and_fx_ completed this cowl with haste (designed by @aztec3dstudioss, inspired by @jfabok) There are still some adjustments I need to make, and the boots are a WIP… I’m not sure where to find ones that wrap around the entire calf or how can they be designed that way, if anyone has ideasAnyway ya I’m Wolverine now too deal with it bub📸 @chrisg683 -#wolverine #hughjackman #logan #xmen #deadpool3 #mcu #wolverinecosplay #conceptart #snikt by @unmaskedstudio

🇺🇸Captain America: Winter Soldier Here’s our interpretation of Bucky Barnes’ Cap Suit, in a build that’s the closest I’ve done to the MCU style. This was one of my more complex builds to date. From getting the muscle suit “armor” to line up with the fabric outersuit, to the piping around the arms and the stand up, MCU style collar, this build allowed me to try a lot of new things. “The Homelander”This is one of the most terrifying villains I’ve seen on screen. @toni.starr brings such depth and emotion to a character that is a poignant mirror of the worst society can be. Here is our interpretation of Moon Knight!Through the waxing and waning of Marvel shows, this one struck a chord with me as a maker and designer. I wanted to incorporate some of the Egyptian imagery so prevalent in the show and the comics, but in our own style. Each section of “wrap” on the suit is hand painted with custom hieroglyphs. It’s very subtle, but I love the detail it adds. Here’s a build we never shared! The goal was to create a minimal, sleek version of the gold Black Panther suit (eventually worn by Eric Killmonger). The tone-on-tone cheetah print fabric came out stunning, and we put it over a gold muscle suit to allow some subtle muscle definition to shine through. Overall the suit has a simple, clean look, but has a ton of depth!
