For me, the best practical choices are often the ones that don’t immediately look practical.

This winding staircase connects every floor of the house, so its carpet needed to work incredibly hard. We chose a herringbone design from the New England collection of @unnatural.flooring that could keep up with the demands of daily life while bringing quiet pattern and texture to the space.

Hard wearing, but never utilitarian.

Old cottage charm, but make it herringbone 🤎

This staircase has been completely transformed with this gorgeous herringbone flatweave from @unnatural.flooring and I don’t think we could have picked a better style for the space.

The texture, the pattern, the character of those stairs… 🤌

A timeless look that feels right at home in an old cottage.

Flat weave done properly 👌🏼

This stunning flat weave is from Unnatural Flooring and with a product like this, choosing the right flooring company really does matter.

Flat weave requires specialist knowledge and attention to detail to achieve that beautiful, seamless finish, and we’re accredited in working with and installing this style of flooring.

We’ve seen first-hand what can happen when these products aren’t installed correctly, which is why choosing a flooring company that understands the product is just as important as choosing the flooring itself.

It’s a more specialist finish, but the result speaks for itself, timeless, beautifully detailed and made to elevate the whole space.

And we’re not finished yet… 👀

Part 2 is coming later this week, with the stunning coordinating stair runner currently being professionally edged ready for fitting. We can’t wait to show you the finished result.

An outstanding installation from the team this week at this lovely cottage right here in the beautiful village of Hilperton in Trowbridge. 🏡🌳

The team have fitted Unnatural Flooring’s “New England” range of synthetic carpets in Herringbone Weave “Woodstock” to the bedrooms, office and hallway of this gorgeous home with the stairs being made into a unique and entirely custom stair runner with Jaspa Tape Binding.

Laid to 6mm Technics underlay, for maximum comfort and durability, and adhered with FBall products, this stunning transformation is finished perfectly with Stairrods Antique Brass thresholds.

If something similar would look equally stunning in your home then get in touch with the team, we’d love to hear your ideas and be part of the project.
