One good rain and the well fills up with water from the terrace and sloping tin roof pipes connected . Glad to see and hear the music of the rains. Good and clear water for the entire year. by @unnynair

The erstwhile capital of Venad Kingdom .. Padmanabhapuram palace ,nr Thuckaley, now Tamil Nadu . This was the palace of the kings before HH Anizham Thirunaal Marthanda Varma shifted his capital to present day capital of Travancore or Trivandrum. Majestic palace. After the state reorganization in 1961 , these areas, except the Palace , went into TN state as who Kanyakumari dist was transferred to TN and we got Malabar province ..Palghat . This palace is still in custody of Kerala Govt. taken in Padmanabhapuram Palace by @unnynair

It's called Bhakthi Maze in compound of sudama mandir, porbundar.
The mandir is the place where lord Krishna's poor friend Sudama or Kujailan or Kuchailan once lived. He was poor and had a large family. Through lord Krishna's help he became Prosperous overnight by giving back Krishna's share of puffed rice ( see the story of Sudama and lord Krishna ) .
He remained humble and grateful to the lord always remembering him .
The Raja of Porbandar made the temple in modern times as old temple got destroyed earlier.
This maze is a tribute to that memory that whatever the phase or thing u may be doing, u need to chant lords name while tackling that task in hand. Devotees walk in that narrow track in the maze one leg at a time chanting lords name. Very interesting. Should be made part in each temple of india. taken in Sudama Mandir,Porbandar by @unnynair

Boats on the River Ganga... In the background, the ever burning pyres of the Manikarnika Ghats , Varanasi . In a metephorical sense the boatmen helps the souls to cross the Vaitarani River when the soul proceeds after death onwards to salvations. Serene but surreal sight. taken in Manikarnika by @unnynair

The Iron Pillar at Mehrauli Vijay stambh compound. It's centuries old..out in the open . Exposed to all the elements of nature yet has withstood rusting. An example of India's Mastery in metallurgy from time immemorial. You can see the destroyed temples in the background. The truth towers and shines in front of all. It's just a question of time qutub minar truth shall also come out. It looks like a giant telescope kept lens down . From the air, it would look like a lotus opening out.
