Just a young Black male practicing yoga 🧘🏾‍♂️ on the shore. I practice to quiet the chatter and connect with God, my source for everything. It helps me to meditate on His word and connect with the Holy Spirit to bring “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,…”(Galatians 5:22). Surpasses all my understanding. 5 years married 🤍

Travel has always been one of our love languages, so every anniversary trip is a chance to pause, reflect on where we’ve been, and celebrate where we’re going.

One of my favorite experiences in Japan was our tea ceremony in Kyoto. They taught us about 一期一会, literally meaning “one meeting,” translating to once in a lifetime. They talked about being present and appreciating each moment because you only get to live that exact moment once.

It stuck with us so much that while there we had anniversary rings made and had it engraved on our rings. For us, one meeting really did change our lives forever. I feel so blessed to have found my person to do life with. Love you babe @unocp_

We sweated our dreams out at the most magical place on earth. Fun times. I think the best part of the trip for me was seeing Cadence go from not wanting the characters near her to giving them hugs and having full conversations. A great first trip to the magical land for the little ones…and the last time we can get them both in for free! Mommy and Daddy made that deadline! ✔️ that off the list!

5 years ago on this date I married my angel. We have learned a lot and grown during this journey. I thank God for this union and pray we continue to learn and grow together. We vowed to create a relationship that we both wanted and enjoyed, your intentionality and devotion to do that through every season gives me extra motivation to keep doing the same. I won’t get too deep here, but just know it’s me and you forever @offthelyc. I love you more than words can express and I’m so honored to be your partner and so grateful you are the mother of my children. Cheers to forever! 5 years in baby!
