I like to present my self as “from the community for the community”. 2. Describe your sound Only hard kicks, driven by the flow of melodies and machines! Delivering special tracks tailored by me or by your well known DJs friends 3. What got you into music? It all began with a close-knit group of friends who shared a mutual love for music, creating an indescribable vibe. This energy captivated me, sparking a desire to delve deeper into the world of music. This passion drove me to embark on my musical journey, aiming to share this incredible vibe with the community. 4. What do you listen to? I have an open mind and appreciate all kinds of music that showcases creativity. Besides techno, I enjoy blues, rock with my morning coffee for example, or Pop on some other instances 5. 3 labels / DJs to follow - @6ejou - @ls41_cologne - @cassie_raptor - @toxicmachinery - @jowijane 6. Challenges? How did you overcome them? Coming from a background with limited resources, breaking into the music industry was challenging. The biggest hurdle was gaining recognition. To overcome this, I created non-profit organizations aimed at helping fellow DJs succeed. This not only built a supportive community but also opened doors for collaborative opportunities and growth. 7. Advice for young artists Dream big, set a plan, and stick to it! ⛓ Get To Know Jacidorex ⛓ Jacidorex is a producer hailing from Brussels. Active as a drum’n’bass producer he discovered acid music by producers like Mr. Gasmask and Acidolido in late 2013. Obsessed by the typical 303 sound, he soon became one of the exponents of the fresh and strong generation of acid producers in Belgium with likeminded producers. Next to his passion for acid music he also developed a strong taste for techno, and where techno meets acid(core) comes Neoacid, which he describes as a mixture of all kinds of acid, industrial techno and even dark electro. Neoacid became the trademark sound of Jacidorex, and his productions go further then the usual acid bangers with well produced and balanced tracks full of old-school influences and his typical deep, eerie and dark synths. Neoacid also became his Label in late 2017, and Unfaced in 2022, when he launched his new concept of events & label where he can show his whole musical universe, including electronic, hip&hop, soundtracks, industrial, etc... His prolific output, on labels such as his own labels, Unfaced & Neoacid, but also 9x9 Records, Rave Or Die, Molekül, etc, soon gained him support by key players and got his name out in the techno scene as well. Meanwhile his powerful dj-sets, aiming towards a progressive and structured techno sound with the hard and dark influences, delivered him an intense touring schedule playing shows all over the globe at some of the biggest clubs, festivals and rave parties. Resulting in the unique sound of Jacidorex gaining more and more exposure on a global level, so be sure, this isn’t the last you heard of him! Get to Know Dr. Sound 1. Present Yourself Hi I am Dr.Sound. DJ & Producer from Slovakia. I started with Techno in 2018. I love mixing and producing a lot of different styles. My main genres are Hard Techno, Hard Trance and Psytrance. Sometimes also Tekno. 2. Describe Your Sound My style is very specific because I play a lot of unreleased tracks from many DJs. I also play a lot of my own unreleased and released tracks. I give a lot of energy to every of my sets. I really like to interact with people. I also love stage diving during my set (No worries I am just kidding) 😂 3. What Got You into Music I play on the piano since I was 6 years old. Then I started to play on guitar. After that I wanted try make some of my own music. I started with acoustic music then I moved on electronic music and then I started with Djing. 4. What do You Listen To I like almost every genres of music but mostly besides techno I listen postpunk, indie rock and rap. 5. 3 Labels/ DJs to Follow My label and founder of label @redroom.label @trezor._ , My good friend and really good DJ & Producer @levre.dj 6. Challenges? How did you Overcome Yes. When we started with a raves in Slovakia a lot of people and older DJs couldn’t accept that style of music. We had a lot of problems with the clubs and promoters but we trusted ourselves and built a pretty big community 🖤 Now it is really good and everyone accepts that. 7. Advice for Young Artists They should practice a lot and find their specific signature. Originality is really important. They should also produce their own music and give a lot of energy. 8. Upcoming Projects/ Gigs We are planning a lot of events with @redroom.label In end of the summer we are hosting names like @its_carv or @palo_uk In my own career I am releasing new EP on @theacidmind in August. by @unplugged.mgmt
