Man… today I had a moment that almost brought me to tears.

Three young men walked into my shop today. They weren’t there to buy anything. They came because they had been watching my journey, seeing my work, and were inspired by what I’ve been building. They wanted to sit down with me and ask for advice.

I don’t think they understand what that moment meant to me.

Because in my head, I’m still that same kid who came from nothing. The same person trying to figure life out, making mistakes, taking chances, losing sleep, and wondering if all this hard work would ever amount to something.

Most days, I’m so focused on what I haven’t accomplished that I barely stop to appreciate how far I’ve actually come.

And then something like this happens.

Three young men saw something in me that sometimes I struggle to see in myself.

Who would’ve thought that one day, someone would walk through MY doors looking for guidance?

I’m still figuring it out myself. I don’t have all the answers. I still struggle. I still fail. I still have days when I question everything.

But today reminded me that success isn’t always measured by how much money you make, how big your business gets, or what you own.

Sometimes success is becoming the person you needed when you were younger.

To those three young men, thank you. You came looking for inspiration, but you have no idea how much you inspired me today.

And to anyone out there building something from nothing… keep going. You never know who’s watching, who’s learning from you, or whose life you’re changing just by refusing to give up.

I used to pray for the opportunity to become somebody.

Today reminded me that maybe, just maybe, I’m already becoming that person. ❤️ by @unrealcustomdesigns

I accidentally turned UNREAL CUSTOM DESIGNS into an internet Scrabble game 😂🧩🔠

The challenge is simple: make any word using only the letters in UNREAL CUSTOM DESIGNS 🎨🔥 You can only use each letter as many times as it appears in the name. So if there are 3 S’s, you can use up to 3, but not 4 🚫✋ Each new word starts fresh.

So far I found DRAGON 🐉, DANGER ⚠️, DEMON 😈, STORM 🌪️, CASTLE 🏰, MONSTER 👹, GUARD 🛡️ and MOUNTAINS ⛰️

Now I want to see what everybody else can find 👀🧠

Today is Father’s Day, and I’ve been thinking about one of the biggest blessings and one of the biggest curses of being a father: watching your kids grow up.

Today I found myself watching old videos of my kids, and it hit me hard. I felt so much joy seeing them grow, seeing their personalities develop, watching them become their own little people. But at the same time, it hurt in a way I don’t even know how to explain.

I looked at my little boy in those videos and thought, one day he’s going to be a grown man. One day that little voice, those little laughs, those little moments are only going to live in videos and memories.

And that’s the part about being a father that nobody really prepares you for. You’re proud of them for growing, but a part of you grieves every version of them that you’ll never get back. You love who they’re becoming, but you miss who they were at the same time.

I don’t ever want anyone to misunderstand me. I love being a dad. It’s the greatest blessing God has ever given me. But fatherhood hurts in the most beautiful way. It hurts because you love so deeply. It hurts because time moves too fast. It hurts because these little people become your whole world, and every stage comes and goes before you’re ready.

So today I’m grateful. Grateful for the memories, grateful for the videos, grateful for the little voices, the hugs, the laughs, the chaos, and even the tears. Being a father is the hardest, most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced.

It hurts so good, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. by @unrealcustomdesigns

My son told me he missed when we lived in the hood… and when I had a “normal” job. I ain’t gonna lie, that broke something in me for a second. Because in his heart, he remembers more time with me. He remembers simple days. He remembers being close to me. But what he doesn’t remember is the fear I was trying to get us away from. He doesn’t remember what it felt like to get robbed, to get jumped, to hear about shootouts, to watch drugs destroy people, or to grow up feeling like survival was normal. And I pray he never does.

So when I’m walking into work at 4 in the morning, tired, stressed, and carrying more than I ever say out loud… this is why. Not because I want to miss moments. Not because I love working myself into the ground. But because every hour I sacrifice is me trying to buy my children a childhood they don’t have to heal from.

One day they’ll understand. One day they’ll realize daddy wasn’t absent because he didn’t care. Daddy was tired because he cared too much to let them struggle the way he did. So play in the snow. Swim in the pool. Laugh. Be kids. I’ll carry the weight. I’ll lose the sleep. I’ll take the pain. I’ll keep fighting for the life I used to pray for.
